Lovely food and coffee. Kid's menu had games on the back, which did the job of distracting until the meal arrived.

Needed somewhere to eat for lunch and bumped into this place. It was excellent service & the food was delicious! Great serving size and great vibe. Would recommend if you are in the area!

Didnt eat here, so hard to judge, but the meals being delivered around me looked good. Will try a meal there soon, hopefully.support local

Nice interior, good menu range, enjoyable food. Long wait time for food and people received their meals that ordered after us. Staff weren’t overly helpful on arrival or when needing to make food alterations

Most horrible service. I ordered a Bloody Mary cocktail, took one sip and it tasted like salsa so I didn’t like it, then I asked one of the workers to please get me a different cocktail or a refund. In the most condescending manner, she declined and said we made it for you so you can’t get another one or a refund? Mind you, I took one singular sip and had to pay $15… Where’s the customer service? As a customer, you should be left satisfied. No needs were met or compromised here. Very disappointed. Not coming back.

After seeing all the positive reviews, we drove 40 mins for brunch here. It was a total let down. The chai lattes we ordered had no Chai, the pork Rueben Sandwich had more cabbage than pork and the French toast, though looked nice (presentation wise), was bland.

Our families favourite place. Been coming here for years. Always maintain their high expected standards across the board.

Worst smashed avo I’ve ever had for a ridiculous price of $22! It was dry, tasteless, all I could taste was the chillies they put on top, the poached egg was also dry and cold. The open plate steak sandwich had poor quality steak and was flavourless. The atmosphere was nice but they brought the meals out 10 mins apart and drinks came last which I found really odd.

Very lively and comfortable cafe. The food and drinks were very delicious and the staff were kind and helpful even when it was busy.

My wife and I had our vow renewal in early December, and we booked Mercetta for our brunch get together with our guests the morning after the event.

Our guests (32 of us) really enjoyed our brunch there. The food was lovely and the service was great. We were able to book the 3 booths at the back which was really great for our party. I also really appreciated that all of the guests were able to pay separately, which made things a lot easier for us.

Special mention to Anthony (the Director) as well. We had to change our guests number a few times leading to the brunch and he was always super communicative and accommodating.

Overall we’d definitely recommend Mercetta for large bookings and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Mornington:)

Amazing staff who go out of their way to serve you. Love the vibe here and the coffee is top notch.

Simple bunch staples made well. Chips were a bit salty but flavours of everything else was quite balanced.

Make sure you book a seat and get a good spot in the courtyard behind. Our table was too low and we had to hunch down to take every bite

Overall nice vibes on a sunny weekend.

Brunch at 10am on a Saturday, got a table for 2 without a booking but it is probably a good idea for bigger groups. Service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive.

Coffee was lovely but did take quite a while to come after ordering, however their takeaway was very busy so it was understandable.

Breaky stack was marvelous, two poached eggs, chorizo, salad greens, on a potato rosti. My companion definitely had fomo.

Atmosphere was lively and busy, a little loud to have a quiet conversation but not loud enough to be annoying.

Definitely recommend stopping by for breakfast, brunch or lunch, or even just a coffee.

My partner & I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Mercetta. We went there for brunch/lunch yesterday, the vibe was electric, service was second to none & the food was delicious. A BIG thanks to the entire team for looking after us. We’ll be back!

We had a function here today and the service and food was second to none!
The staff were so accommodating to all our guests and went above and beyond to keep everyone happy. They were even playing along with the kids. All our guests complimented the delicious food and drinks and said the function space was absolutely perfect even in this miserable weather. It really couldn’t have gone any better and I’m so grateful that Mercetta made our event so memorable. If you want a fuss free and beautiful event for your next occasion - look no further!

1st time visit, nice place, great ambience, outside seating area front and rear garden setting under cover which is also dog friendly. Great coffree, food was also good and service was quick enough. Would visit again.

Disappointing, save your money. We had the salmon bruschetta and breakfast stack. Plating lacked care and both meals were under seasoned. The rye toast under the bruschetta was ‘sandwich slice’ and had been flattened by the knife seeking to spread as little chèvre as possible, the mashed avocado possibly comprised two teaspoons of the same. There was about 100 grams of greasy smoked salmon plonked on top which left me feeling slightly nauseous. A slice of lemon or some crisp greens wouldn’t have gone astray. My partner was able to locate three small cubes of chorizo in his bland stack which was topped with two waterlogged eggs. Apparently the side of mushrooms were cooked in herbs, but there were none in sight. Coffee and chai were decent at least (hence the second star), @broadsheet definitely need to revisit their review. Don’t bother

The breakfast food was amazing and juices/ smoothies as well! Highly recommended to come here. Great vibes. Friendly and helpful staff!
