Mentone Kebab House

Delivery order with lamb kebab and falafel Hsb. Kebab was okay, but the falafel hsp was totally inedible. So annoying because if we ordered and ate in house we would have certainly said something, but when it is delivered you can’t do anything to give feedback.

If you love your falafel cooked until charcoal in your hsp then this is the place for you. If you actually want to eat your dinner then not so much. $20 for a few edible chips and burnt falafel. Horrible.

Best HSP and Baklava in Bayside! Delicious, clean, good quality and good value! Visited with my partner… we were hangry and tired after a long drive…. The shop was super clean and provided friendly service to us… the food hit the spot! Thank you team.

The food here is incredibly delicious, and the staff is always so lovely and welcoming. The shop is very nice and clean. There Special Lamb is definitely the best I've tried! I highly recommend this place to everyone as there is something for all tastes!

The guy working here gave me a free drink and some extra hsp my friend ordered so I could eat. This place is great and the workers are extremely friendly.

Not great, but not terrible either. They're using polystyrene packaging, which in 2023 is just simply not ok. Won't return.

Avoid! They got my order wrong TWICE! When they finally got my HSP right the chips were fat-soaked like mush & the lamb was extremely poor quality with lots of fat & gristle through it.
I threw the food away, I'll never go back there.
Worst Kebab shop ever.

These guys make the best kebabs! Perfect ratios of meat, tomato lettuce sauce etc etc. The flat bread they use is nice and thin but does not fall apart.

I paid extra for “special” lamb hsp. Which is lamb that is not mince. I watched the guy with my own eyes serve me mince lamb which was cold and he reheated it on the grill instead of cutting it off the fresh meat. He promised “it isn’t mince brother”. I come home open the hsp and it’s mince… I also bought small tub of rice which was hard and stale. Don’t waste your money here.

Difficult deciding between 4 and 5 stars, if it was out of 10 would lean more towards a 9. The ONLY thing I would change about my kebab would be swapping the 'fancy' lettuce for regular crispy Iceberg. Everything else was absolutely perfect. Overall very good quality. Will return.

Have only been here a few times but every experience I’ve had here has been positive. Great food and super-friendly staff, no doubt that I will come here again. Definitely recommend!

Place is spotless, clean, all ingredients are fresh and everything is made the way is meant to be, simple fresh kebab meals.sauces are good quality, the mayo is not cheap quality, they make baclava in the house, staff is friendly but most importantly they are bloody clean, highly recommend this place for a nice quick kebab meal

Pretty average food and the lamb is not all real meat, half of it is the reconstituted shaved loaf stuff. Tzatziki was very runny like soup. Chips were nice and salad/rice were okay.

We ordered 3 kebabs for dinner tonight and all were very tasty! This will be our new kebab shop even if it is a little out of our way, it was worth it
