I've never had any problems with the quality of the work like unlike the other reviews. In fact I keep coming back and this is now the only place I trust, especially with my high clothing. Customer service is polite but brisk, don't expect a hug.

I brought a pair of pants to have the zipper fixed. When I went to collect it, they REPLACED the zipper although I was told it could be fixed. Needless to say I was charged a very expensive price for it. When I queried this, the lady, who presumably owns the place, rudely told me she has no time for my questions as she was busy (although she was chit chatting with another customer when I first walked in). Asked for a receipt and she scribbled 'paid' on the piece of paper which I initially wrote my name on when I sent in my pants. I had to request for a proper receipt and she reluctantly wrote one. I do not recommend getting your tailoring done here - unprofessional, expensive and almost felt fleeced.

Always professional, competitive pricing, and quality work. More than 12 years going here for alterations, never been unhappy with the quality of the work or the prices. Also great turnaround.

She is terribly unorganised. Doesn’t provide a receipt. Tell you she’s going to steam and then doesn’t. Very rude and abrupt lady.

I am appalled by the customer service provided at this shop. I needed a zip replaced on a garment, you would expect any repairer to replace the zip with the same faulty one but instead they have replaced it with a different chunkier zip without notifying me first. Now the garment is a bigger fit, when I confronted the owner she simply said she didnt care! No offer to fix the problem, what kind of customer service says they dont care?
A very dissatisfied customer!

I have used Meni's for the past 2 years to alter my work uniforms as I am a stocky guy so pants and shirts always need to be taken up. I also had them alter my work pants as I was an armed guard and needed room for a holster. The work is always completed quickly and professionally and to this day none of the alterations have torn or broken etc.

Disgraceful workmanship!

I usually do not review businesses, but from my experience at Meni's Tailoring & Alterations I simply had to.

I had a business shirt tailored at her establishment, a few weeks later it ripped - exactly where the alterations were done! I cannot believe that some people entrust their wedding attire to Meni's Tailoring, when she cannot perform a few simple alterations on a shirt!

Note: Business shirt was bought from Politix - South Yarra, they will recommend her services (which aren't cheap) for alterations, do not use her!

A year or so after this situation occurred I visited her again (how stupid of me) to tailor a tuxedo I purchased from Arthur Galan (the owners sons own fashion line). She quoted an outrageous sum of money for the required work that needed to done, based on this I asked her to remove the pins used to guide where to make the alterations as I was going elsewhere. She retorted that if I do this, I will ruin her 'sons' clothing line and couldn't bare the thought of that. She then asked what I and my parents did for a living and where else I would go, then she eventually asked how much I would be willing to pay for the tailoring! No thanks, I left in hurry after that encounter.

Customer service was appalling and rude. They gave me a lot of unnecessary and negative comments.
Workmanship of alternation was average as the hemline of the dress after the alteration was not straight.
