Melton Waves

I have recently come back to Melton Waves after a few years to do some water exorcise classes and I was appalled at the condition of the women's change rooms,
they are out of date and in desperate need of a makeover, the shower cubicles were disgusting and had clumps of women's hair and old tissues and things on the floor and it was just revolting, do you not have someone to go in and clean a couple times a day or at the very least hose down the shower walls and floors and sanitise,
there is rust on the shower walls and it is overall just disgusting and felt so unclean that I chose to just try to get changed in there rather than having a shower which was not easy given that I had to try to avoid touching or standing on anything disgusting,
Even the overall pool area felt unclean and there is mould on areas of the ceiling and areas where it looks like its about to fall down, not only is the entire complex unclean and unsanitary but it is also clearly unsafe,
I don't foresee myself continuing to come to Melton Waves if there is no change.

Terrible. Turned up and there was a line out the door. Waited with my toddler and about 30 other people in the sun for 20 minutes with the line not moving at all. There was no explanation or communication from staff at all. Trash

Very unprofessional staff member in the gym. My teenager who is 17 with a disability has a carer with him most times. Twice now he has had issues once on his own where the staff member questioned my son's age and despite my son stating he is 17 the staff member proceeded to state he looked 12. This time my son's carer was told his at no point to touch any equipment he is only to supervise. My son has a companion card and is entitled to a care for support. My son is visual and follows instruction visually but was denied this. My son feels uncomfortable going to the facilities now.

Cleanliness! OmG when was the last time the pool was cleaned? You can rub off the scum on the edges of the pool. Also why are the kiddie pools so cold? This pool has so much potential, management needs to fix the the rapid river, clean the pool, have floors hosed down every 2 hours in change rooms, fix broken showers, fix loose tiles and uneven tiled surfaces in and around the pool and keep the pools at a good temp for kids to want to hang around also it would really lift the atmosphere by playing some music. Chuck in a slide and blow up and people would be very happy to spend more time there.

Very bad service very dirty kids pool play side, I went there first time in December. And kids pool was really yellow moulded floor and when I’ve seen few cockroaches Yes 4x cockroaches and call the worker, she killed then by her shoes in same water drainage corner and leave their bodies on the drainage face.
I took my baby and kids from there and talk to management, but everyone is really careless there. They said we clean the pool every night.

Been going here for few months on ongoing contract. Today been told my contract got cancelled. No explanation why, not even after I showed an original email proof that it is an ongoing contract. All my payments came through.
When asked if I could sign up again, got no answer just a blank stare from customer service.

Melton waves delivers a great swimming program, bluefit. My daughter received 1: 1 support swimming and high quality teachers. Melton waves delivers wave stimulation and regards safety. Melton waves is cost effective. I will continue to use Melton waves. Area of improvement is cleaniness in the bathrooms.

Unfortunately I have had a bad experience these last few months with the poor management from Melton Waves, every month, I require membership papers from the management and I have trouble getting a hold of them as they don't reply to my multiple emails nor follow-up. The pool it self is also very dirty and the staff aren't strict on people adhering to the policies of showering before entering the pool especially if fully clothed.

Too much chemicals in the pool.

Everytime after swimming there my face is burning, this doesn't happen at any other public pool, please switch to a salt based chemical, or use less

Highly rate melton waves I take my disability clients there they are extremely accommodating excellent customer service ️

There isn't anyone in charge of Melton Wave at the moment. I got double charge fortnightly for no reason. No one able to fix it.

Changing rooms are super dirty and they reek of urine. So far i visited many aquatic centres here in Victoria and this one feels like a place built for animals and not humans. Very dirty and stinky.

The pool/spas a great, need more healthy foods but the fruit salad amazing.its disappointing when mine and partners experience was ruined when a group of older ladies came in without the correct swim wear they wore normal clothes disgusted they should of been made to leave.

Just the right place with options for casual swims, wave pool, heated pool and jaccuzzi pool for relaxation, steam room and swim classes. Very organized and professional staff. The lifeguards are on continuous monitoring. The staff immediately attended to a child's injury caused due to accidental trip and fall. They were very experienced and ensured that the wound was properly dressed and also calmed the kid by giving an icy pole
A must visit place for the neighborhood.

Just got the birthday party (pool) for my daughter done. Amazing people, nice food. Staff was cordial especially Shaun.
Great job Team Melton Waves. Keep it up and going

First time coming to a wave pool and there are no waves at all. No food besides hot chips and sandwiches and took the canteen staff q5 minutes to serve us. This place sucks.

I haven't been to Melton Waves for a while but the few times I've been there was a very enjoyable experience. The waves happen every 30 minutes. I would highly recommend for people to visit there, good fun for the whole family especially kids that love wave pools

It is a wonderful place to go and get fit and happy.
It may need to be refurnished in some area's.

I brought my two year old, along with my cousin and her two children here a couple of months back during the summer. I couldn’t believe how under staffed the indoor centre had been, especially with a wave pool.
There was an abundance of junk food options at the canteen when all I was looking for were a couple salad sandwiches and a few fruit salads for the kids.
The change rooms are good, just not clean enough and there was only one change table section with a very long line of mothers waiting to use it.
The worst part was the virus? Our three children caught afterwards, it seemed like a stomach bug as all three children experienced bad vomiting for 24 hours, a horrific experience for such young children and toddlers. The cleanliness and hygiene levels of this centre is extremely questionable and needs to be overlooked 100%, more supervision over the pools are a must. What used to be an amazing swim centre is now the worst swim centre I’ve ever visited, on so many levels.

Poor Management and instructors. My daughter attended lessons at the centre and staff don't know how to keep toddlers engaged in the lessons. I was making my daughter to come back to lessons but instructor was not willing to entertain her at all. Later on my daughter didn't go for any lessons for months and I called for cancelling my Subscription, they just disconnecting the call and never responded back again.
