These guys are awesome to deal with. Corey came and dropped the concrete grinder and extractor off and explained how to use it perfectly. They were so nice to deal with. Will definately use them again.

Very rude manager.
I was 3 hours late in returning a digger and the manager started swearing and shouting at me aggressively. There are better ways to have handled the situation but he was too angry to sort out for a better solution.
I’m never going back there.

Hired the Red Roo Turf cutter from Melton U Hire. Very happy with how easily this machine went. I had to relocate some turf around my property and this machine cut up the kikuyu with ease. Slabs were nice a even as well which was a big surprise. Your getting the quality of a turf farm cut in a domestic setting.

The guys were also a great help, will be hiring from them again.

Great place to hire from! We hired with a weeks notice with no issues! Small demo on how to use the item and we were on our way! Reasonably priced and the machine was a great help to landscaping the back yard!

Hired a turf cutter which didn't cut through the buffalo. Returned machine to the business. Was rudely cut off mid sentence by the owner wheeling machine to the nature strip to demonstrate how incompetent I was because he could cut 10mm of weed on nature strip. When I told him the turf I was trying to cut was thick buffalo and after informing him I was familiar with how these machines operate he became irrate and started verbally abusing me from about a foot away. Told me to f off and called me numerous other names I shant repeat. He really lost his head. Eventually he agreed to bring the machine out to the site to test it. No show. Rang the business where they informed me they weren't coming out and then a hang up. Didn't really care about a refund, but just wanted to let them know that the machine wasn't doing what it was meant to. I never write these reviews but was that annoyed that I felt compelled to do so to ensure no one else has to deal with this unprofessional company. If I could give negative stars I would!

Been here a few times.
Now my go to hire store when I need something while working out this way.
Prices are reasonable, just need to ring, tell them what you want over the phone and when you get there it's all sorted and ready to go. Easy, just make sure you have a valid in date driver licence or you'll have issues lol.

Melton U hire has good equipment and their prices are reasonable. Garry was super helpful during the hire and the hiring of equipment went smooth and hassle free. I will use their service again and definitely recommend Melton u hire to anyone.

These people are unreasonable. You better hope things go exactly according to plan. Otherwise the manager is going to get extremely aggressive, swear at you and make you feel unsafe. There are cheaper places out there that actually care for your business. Avoid Melton U Hire at all costs.

Good, helpful service and reasonable prices. Equipment that I hired was in good condition and more than suitable for the work I needed it for.

Quick and box fuss. In and out in 5 mins. Tried the same in Bunnings and took them 45 mins and 3 staff to sort out what uhire did in 5 mins

Great place to hire equipment. Third time here and won't go anywhere else. Prices s re cheap and the Boys are very helpful.
