Melton Skatepark

Eh, average at best. Too many kids leaving scooters in ramps, but all in out its decent for beginners and advanced skaters alike. Comes fit with a half pipe, half bowl and a small street section. In the centre you'll find a hip and a volcano ramp, there's a box far side which is good to practice tricks over or up. I recommend it for your child to begin skating.

Would be 5 stars if the vert was repaired.it really needs it.not dangerous yet but not far off either.

Beginners:
The mini section is pretty slick with a table top, manaul pads/low ledges and a baby mini as part of the table top meets close to a small quarter. There is also plenty of larger banks of differing sizes if you aren't yet confident dropping in on quarter pipes.
There is also some practice rails and ledges outside of the main park area.

Intermediate to Advanced:
Transitions everywhere! Seriously a pretty great design overall. A half bowl with a grind box within jumping distance and so many different approaches in and out. There a pretty awesome spine which blends with the tabletop/funbox begging to have some creative and crazy transitions into grinds or some slick airs.

The vert as I mentioned isn't in great condition but still skateable. A good size for someone starting on vert.

Amenaties:
There is a small bit of shade for onlookers.
Public toilets aren't far from the skatepark.

Park is great for the kids whether tbey be on skateboard, scooter or bike. Lots of fun. Could do with a little bit more shade though.

Kids used to love going here unfortunately sometimes things happen here that shouldn't, maybe cctv should be concidered to be installed to increase safety

Probably the best skate park in Melton. Worth checking out if you are in the area but nothing special

Over the years the Melton council have done a great job turming this once rundown skate park into an amazing set up for all to enjoy.

Aslong as it is kept clean and without graffiti then it will be great for years to come.

Good park, a fair bit of variety.
Usually could use a good sweep, particularly around the ledges.
Vert is a bit lumpy but decent otherwise.
Feels like a lot of wasted space, but overall a fun park.

This is a great skatepark for anyone that is stepping into transition with many large ramps and a nice mini ramp to boot. The big selling points of this park are the presence of the rarely now seen half pipe and the fact that it is lit up until 1100 pm every night.

This place is surprisingly good. It has a bit of everything for every level, and a big ramp. It has lights in the evening, which is pretty convenient and rare for a skatepark.
