I got highlights done in my hair, a haircut and a blow wave. They did a fantastic job! Went black to blonde over the course of a few hours and it turned out spectacular! My hair feels so soft and looks positively gorgeous with the blow wave and curls!

Only because we were 10 minutes late to an appointment, we were told on the day of our function that they might not be able to complete all our beauty services.extremely bad experience. Never recommending to anyone. No apologies from the staff. They almost made me and my daughter cry because we were 10 minutes late to a 1.5 hr previously booked appointment. If they plan to do this to their clients, they should atleast have the courtesy to send a text message or Amy sort of communication to say that if you are late for your appointment, we will not give you full service, at our parlour you have to be 100 percent on or before time or do not book us if you will come late. We only got hair straightened, no styling needed. We were not 20 minutes late, check your CCTV cameras.ur lies are all in your response and make up.face and neck were totally different, I had to correct the foundation and lipstick. And if I threatened your staff, why did you still do my services. Yes I demanded you do what we booked you for, I am not going to stand and beg.disappointing response from owner and staff.no empathy or apology. Highly not recommending mello to anyone ever.

Being new to the area, I was apprehensive about getting my hair coloured at this salon but the team at mello was very welcoming and professional. Kinari did a great job by choosing the right base and highlight tones for my hair and the outcome exactly matched the look/colour I wanted. Highly recommend!

My sister, mum, grandmother and I all go - 3 generations! Even when I moved to Brunswick and it took me 45mins drive to get there, I would never go anywhere else! Can't recommend highly enough, you'll never need to take a risk on a salon after this treatment.

I had previously used their services, mostly eyebrow threading, facial and hair cut. Today I went for hair massage, trim and washing. Massage was fine but washing was not proper as white water was still dripping from my hair when she was cutting my hair. And then she blow dried. In the end I found that the hair was still oily and the other employee at the salon also agreed when I mentioned that my hair is still oily.when I told my hair attendant lady about this, she tells me that yes your hair was already oily when you came here and I put shampoo twice and did not even use conditioner but it is still oily. So I cannot do anything. I was shocked at such a response! As if I have never oiled and washed my hair before! Aren't they supposed to rinse hair properly when they provide oiling service? So much for the customer service! I had to go somewhere and now I need to wash my hair again after spending 17 dollars for their service. Sorry Mello, you lost a customer here!

We have been coming to this salon and their sister salon in Oakleigh for years. They are always professional and friendly. My son is not the most patient kid when he is getting his hair cut and they are fantastic with him. All the staff are amazing.
