The lessons are flexible and interactive which is very encouraging and motivating. The atmosphere is supportive and helpful and I am never afraid to ask for advice or suggest something new. I have a lot of great memories, I don’t think there was ever a bad lesson. Though some of my favourite memories would include playing together. Whether it was improvising or sight reading, it was a lot of fun and helpful when learning a more complicated piece. Melinda is a wonderful teacher and I highly recommend her!

Melinda is an excellent piano teacher, with a passion for teaching kids. She is affable and fun, with an ability to tailor lessons to the appropriate level of ambition and level of different young players. She is particularly interested in new, pedagogic methods, with our children enjoying playing also together. She is always available and flexible to match scheduling constraints and during Covid-19, she also demonstrated her flexibility and ability to teach very effectively also on-line. We would strongly recommend her as a piano teacher, especially for children, based on our experience.

Your teaching style was encouraging and it gave me motivation to keep playing. You were strict with certain things but it was worth it. Your teaching overally helped me a lot with improving my skills.

I have learned more understanding to music and my technical abilities to play have improved dramatically. I have also learned to analyze different kinds of pieces in a more precise way. Found out new favorite composers and pieces.

I liked that there was someone explaining and helping me with learning new pieces and introducing me to different kinds of techniques. Favorite memory is probably the christmas concert you organized.

Very lovely person and an exceptional pianist! Very experienced within her expertise in music and will provide a warm learning environment. Highly recommended!
