Melbourne Watch Repairs reviews
16Very lovely staff that were very attentive. Was also pleasantly surprised to see a young female watch maker in what I imagine is normally a male dominated field. You go girl!
The repair was carried out promptly and reasonable costs for work done. The watch was sent back with bubble wrap around the watch and the box itself.
Took both my Rolexes in for a service, repair and band adjustment. Wonderful service and fair pricing. Highly experienced repairers and very trustworthy. Thanks guys, much appreciated.
My experience with this business was a poor one. I took my watch in feeling reasonably confident it was a simple battery replacement. I received an email several hours later from the business outlining that they believe it's not a battery issue and that their recommendation is to go ahead with a service to find the issue at a cost of $396. I politely declined, picked up my watch, took it around the corner where another business replaced the battery on the spot for $30.
December 2021, Attention to all Watch Trader clients; The Director of Watch Trader Darryl j Middleton has been evicted from Carlow House Melbourne. If you have consigned your watch with Middleton then join me in civil action proceedings against Middleton to recover your forfeited watch property before Middleton can sell it and use your misappropriated funds to fund himself, only a collective class action with me will recover your watch/proceeds from Middleton please read my attached notice to contact me. Thank you to Melbourne watch repairs for their courtesy in allowing me to post this Bulletin.
Helpful, don't charge if they can't fix, polite and professional. Fixed my digital watch in a week or two and got it back for lockdown.
Did a great job with my Breitling and with my Tissot
Drove to my house to pick it up
Craig was a lovely honest bloke I would highly recommend
Wonderful service. Absolute fair pricing.
I have been there few times for service, repair, battery replacement and watchband adjustments. Totally recommend them since it is not easy to find reliable and resourceful watchmaker if you are new in Melbourne.
Pretty good place. These people know how to do their job as I believe they haven't broken anything or made a customer feel unhappy. I recommend them.
You will get the service that you need but expensive
Just closing back side of my watch cost me $20
Really professional and friendly service, definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to get their watch fixed by a trustworthy and dedicated professional.
Great service for replacement of batteries for two watches. Waited only 15 mins for new batteries and clean up of faces etc. Thanks Paul you really are a dedicated watch man!
Dropping a brand new Blancpain on a hard tiled floor and chipping a lug is never ideal. While most would live with it and even the watch retailer advised to leave it, I’m ultra fussy and needed a solution. In just a few days and at a negligible cost, Paul has repaired it to as-new, filled with the same high grade steel, re-grained to match case and polished a 4-bevelled lug requiring magnification to pick up a tiny imperfection. Met his offsider Craig the day before – friendly and knowledgeable. Can highly recommend their business.
Paul greeted me with a lovely and warm smile. Asked if I could get the springs on my watch band to be replaced and very quick fix and efficient service and only got charged half the price. Cheers and all the best mate. Wael, Sydney.
Really great service, got two batteries replaced and one new strap done. Even got a discount by paying cash! Definitely recommend it!
I took my watch here for a service and to repair the crown, spending hundreds of dollars. The crown then broke within 6 months again. This was excluded under their service warranty as stated on the receipt so I didn't bother taking it back. Then strap broke (not their fault). It's special shape meant it was impossible to find a replacement in Australia. So it's sat on my bedside for over a year while I tried to find a replacement strap. Finally a different repairer found a strap for me but when fitting it they told me it needed a service. I told them it had been serviced just before the strap broke and they said it'd not been done properly and to take it back to where it was last serviced. On returning it here the man was incredibly rude and arrogant about it being outside their standard 12 month warranty. He offered to service it again for the same cost I was quoted elsewhere and said to go elsewhere if I didn't like that. And so I will.
