Had my reservations in the beginning with this watchmaker/seller but nevertheless I "took a risk" and bought a Chelsea watch that was on sale online.
Oh wow! The watch arrived quickly and upon seeing it in the metal it was just beautiful. I swear it's a bargain paying that amount for a watch with this level of aesthetics and craftsmanship. It looks high end but unpretentious. Already got some compliments from friends and colleagues and it had become my favorite timepiece amongst my collection.

I live in Los Angeles and had originally found MWC via Instagram and randomly stopped by the showroom while I was in town visiting family and WOW am I glad I did! I met Nicholas McLaren who was absolutely wonderful and picked out a watch for myself as well as my father in law. I had wanted to surprise my father in law with his, so on his birthday Nicholas went so far as to have cocktails waiting for he and my mother in law and create a truly special experience for them. Timeless design, fantastic service, and unparalleled quality is what makes this company really stand out. I just got my own (it was on pre-order when I went in, the very same one Nicholas happened to be wearing) and they even swapped the band out for me for a custom one because I loved how it looked. VERY happy with my purchase and worth every cent! Ive only had it on for one day and have gotten at least 7 people stopping to compliment me on it so far. UPDATE: I had some issues with my watch such as the color on the hands fading etc, and got the rudest reply from customer service (nicholas is no longer there apparently) and after spending THOUSANDS of dollars, was basically told too bad. Very disappointing.

Went into showroom mid February (booked easily online), Georgina was very helpful in showing me the watches I was interested in, allowing me to customize straps I wanted.watches seem to be well built, and nice to see any repairs were taking place on site.would purchase again

I just received my Burnley Watch from the Melbourne Watch Company. First, the service was amazing, delivered within 4 days a week before Xmas. I am very happy with the watch. Looks and feels like a quality timepiece. I only have one minor issue or more accurately a suggestion and that is the date could have a bubble to make it easier to read for those of us who aren't 20 anymore.

Absolute 5 star experience! I bought the Portsea Heritage for my partners birthday which fell during COVID. Right from the start we had a tailored experience, as the first watch i have purchased for a man, I was nervous about selecting the right one. I was met with patience, and service that went above and beyond to ensure I, and then he, was happy with the watch. The quality is just beautiful, the watch gets compliments all the time!
Will definitely be coming back for more of the range in the future.

I bought this watch online last week after noticing the special price on the black Sorrento diver's watch. It arrived today and I am absolutely delighted with it! Firstly the case is a work of art in itself, a solid wooden case with press button release and shiny and well made hinges. Paperwork was neatly tucked in its own pouch. It even came with a jeweller's screwdriver to adjust the polished stanless steel bracelet. The watch itself is a fine piece of craftsmanship - it is solid and heavy, and doesn't rattle loosely like some ill-fitting cheap watch. Make no mistake about it - this is a well engineered piece of men's jewellery! The watch itself is elegant, yet rugged looking - perfect for diving as well as dressing up like a fashionable timepiece. The luminous hands and 5 minute markings glow clearly in the dark, making it easy to tell the time at a quick glance. It helps having the contrasting hands with the dark dial. The bracelet was easy to adjust. I suppose the only thing missing is a clear pouch or plastic ziplock bag to put the loose unnecessary bracelet linkages, but that's a minor point. Being a watch collector myself, it stands well amongst my other Swiss made automatic watches but at a fraction of the price. In summary - well done to Melbourne Watch Company for a fine piece of craftsmanship! I'm hoping MWC won't mind me visiting their Melbourne premises and take a peek at their workshop and other watch models when I visit Melbourne in January 2020? Hopefully they'll get back to me if they read this review.

Ordered my black Sorrento online after checking out reviews. Beautifully presented and it oozes quality. The watch looks fantastic on my wrist and I've had plenty of compliments in regards to it. Solid swiss movement and well priced (especially with a sale on). Australian made as well and you don't say that very often these days. Just waiting for a nice automatic chronograph now.

Bought a beautiful brown leather strap from them in their shop. Nicholas was really polite. Will happily buy from them again.

Had a really positive experience with Nicholas and the team. I really enjoyed the shopping experience of attending the show room at an arranged time. It is a beautiful space and a lot of thought and effort has gone into the experience. It was great to have someone help me decide on the perfect watch to gift my partner on our wedding day. Nicholas was a wealth of knowledge, very honest and generous. My husband loved our choice and I'm hoping he will be back to reciprocate on another special occasion for me!

Very down to earth staff and super accomodating to me. Nick went out of his way so that i could get exactly what i had in mind and now i have something that as a first watch i don't think i could be happier with! The Portsea heritage is very cool and unique. Overall great experience with them!
