First time travelling internationally and me and my partner went in to get some ideas and structure to our very vague plan. Emma was incredible helpful and worked to get the best deal for us whilst listening and taking into account everything we asked for. She had lots of knowledge and we felt very comfortable booking through her. She also offered us more help booking cars, accomodation and insurance when the time came. We left feeling very excited for the trip and relaxed knowing we are in good hands!

I called this team today (at 4.30 on a Friday nonetheless) and handed them a disaster; I'd just found out, 10 days from departure, that all our flights had been cancelled and the airline didn't have any available flights to move us to. It was the first time in over a decade that my English partner was going to spend Christmas with his family. Immediately, they put me at ease and in less than an hour, Sandra and Matt had an unbelievably amazing plan for us. Remember when you thought you didn’t need a travel agent? I do but that was before a global pandemic. I have used the Melbourne Travel Project on two occasions and in both instances Bobbie Woods has managed to save me time and money. Her insider knowledge meant I didn’t make mistakes when booking a ticket to get my husband home from the USA during the period when Australia had flight caps. With the latest trip, she recommended a much longer than usual layover at Sydney Airport based on what she’d experienced with previous clients trying to make international connections while there is still so much disruption because of COVID. It’s definitely an era when great travel agents are well worth investing in to try to reduce the likelihood of potentially very costly travel hassles. My wife and I have just spent a 42-day holiday in Europe and Singapore that Matt arranged, it included all the flights, transfers, Iceland & Greenland cruise, accommodation, hire cars and travel insurance and we were provided all the paperwork and itineraries both electronically and hardcopy.
The pricing was more than competitive than we had expected as we had set a budget and Matt was well under what we had allowed.

Lauren was very informative and organized. She booked the most cost effective and efficient flights that we are after and helped us to organize accomodation for our 26 days trip to Japan next year!
We were sent home with 2 to 3 options we can choose from which suits us more with the budget we set. She also provided some recommendations for for places to visit and unique accommodation that we would love to experience.
She is genuinely as happy as we are and excited for us about the trip.

Alisha is knowledgeable about where you want to travel and her extensive travel experience is second to none. We have just got back from a fabulous European trip. We spent time in Munich, Berlin, then a 9 day Swiss rail trip, which then led into a river cruise to Amsterdam, time in Amsterdam before a stop in Dubai on the way home. All organised by Matt at Melbourne Travel Project. He did such an amazing job and everything went so smoothly. His advise and planning made the trip worry free it was amazing. I have called on Matt and his team before and they never disappoint, even getting my stranded daughter home from Brazil in the middle of the worst of the pandemic.
