Melbourne Shiatsu

I have met few practitioners that are as non-judgmental and caring of the body than Dan. He treats the body as sacred and, by the end of the session, you feel held and heard. I cannot recommend Melbourne Shiatsu enough!

Dan is a gifted practitioner whose years of experience are felt in his sessions. He has created a beautiful space that nourishes and heals. Having bodywork with Dan is an incredible experience I would highly recommend.

I’ve had several sessions with Dan over the years and was excited to try his infusion massage and it was just what my body needed.
Dan has the amazing ability to read and massage the body while holding a safe container and respecting boundaries.
I felt safe to totally allow my body to relax and drop into a state of complete surrender and receive the nourishing touch.
His studio is clean, warm and welcoming.
I’ve indulged in the bath section before and that was also wonderful combination to have pre massage.

Dan is very responsive, a true healer. My body is a train wreck after surgery for scoliosis and a very demanding life physically. I found his treatment dynamic and effective.

Dan is one of the most skilled massage therapists I have experienced. Personally I have found that his massages have been just as helpful (if not more so) for chronic issues coming from a fractured sacrum than the regular chiropractic and osteo treatments I've been getting for years.

To say Dan changed my life is an understatement. I was struggling with chronic, persistent cluster headaches for a few years and it wasn't until I started going to Dan combined with acupuncture that my headaches went away. I especially appreciate that he's invested in solving what's wrong rather than giving a massage that helps for a day or two. I almost am hesitant to write a review as I don't want to let the secret get out. Highly recommend. A practitioner that truly cares about his patients and their well being.

Dan has a relaxed vibe and strong energy, as well as a really holistic understanding of eastern medicine. Can't imagine how I would have recovered from my concussion without him!

Have had 2 massages here now & already booked for my third! I particularly love the intuitive oil work that incorporates the meridians yet leaves me feeling so relaxed. As a bodyworker myself, I receive many different types of massage but this one is special. Can't recommend more highly! A very experienced practitioner, relaxed setting and professional massage.
