One of the best nights ever!

We had a private class with a group of friends. Our instructor, Frankie, was so enthusiastic and fun. We had an absolute ball and will definitely be coming back!

Frank & Gabby are true pioneers of the Melbourne latin scene. Their classes are delightful, their events exceptional and their resilience in the face of Covid admirable.

I have been part of Melbourne Salsa for 3 years now. What caught my attention at first was the passion in the dance teachers.
The teachers display this passion & professionalism with laughs in between.this atmosphere takes the teaching & learning to another level.
Melbourne Salsa is a place where quality speaks, not quantity. Highly recommended.

The staff are super friendly and encourage you to try your best! The instructors are very passionate about their job and it shows in their teaching, which makes the whole experience that much better and enjoyable. I always look forward and have so much fun when I go to class, I could not recommend Melbourne Salsa any more!

I would highly recommend this latin dance school if you are seriously considering commencing your latin dance journey. Not only are the dance teachers warm & authentic, they are also incredibly well trained and knowledgeable. There are other rhythms that are also taught at Melbourne Salsa such as bachata which features predominantly in the social dance scene at the moment. I have taken lessons from Frank, Kiki and Julian in the past as well as workshops and other social dance activities in their studio and I have enjoyed every time I have had the opportunity of dancing with them. 5 stars!

Gabi and the team are fabulous at Melbourne Salsa! Communication between my wife and Gabi was amazing and we can't thank her enough for placing us in the extremely capable hands of Abdo as our dance instructor for our wedding dance. We had 10 lessons and even with my two left feet, he somehow made me look like I knew what I was doing! His choreography, patience and teaching pedagogy was wonderful and he helped me so much because he wasn't critical and allowed us to make mistakes so we could learn. If you're looking for a patient, gentle and just all round legend as a dance teacher, Abdo is your man!

The challenges are the right amount; enough to stimulate the body and mind, but also to be able to learn and dance.oh, and the fun is ALWAYS present. It didn't take long for me to become addicted to salsa and bachata with these guys!

From the moment you enter the Melbourne Salsa studio, you would be impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of all staff. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable. My journey began 2019, and have never looked back. All dance instructors are very knowledgeable, and bring their own flare to each class, and private lessons. Not only has my Salsa and Bachata improved immensely, i have also made many great friends during my journey.

Melbourne Salsa is one of the best dance studios I've had the pleasure of being a part of. The instructors are highly skilled in addition to being the most friendly and welcoming people. The atmosphere at Melbourne Salsa is both professional and fun and is accomodating to all levels of dancers including first timers and more experienced dancers. I joined Melbourne Salsa classes just after lockdown and I've never looked back. After a whole year deprived of in-person classes and dancing, discovering this established dance school has made all the difference to my technique and my style as a social dancer. Teachers are warm, friendly and have an abundance of knowledge and experience when it comes to technicality, musicality, body movement and flavour. Fundamentals are taught in a fun & engaging environment where discipline is also apparent. It is one thing to be able to dance professionally, but it's another thing to deliver these skills to students with limited experience. At Melbourne Salsa, teachers not only are skilled enough to execute advanced moves, but they're also well-equipped to teach effectively and efficiently resulting from years of experience. Not only have I levelled up in my dancing journey, I've made incredible friendships with people who share the same passion. If you are genuinely interested in improving your dancing and taking it to the next level, the team at Melbourne Salsa has you covered.

So glad Salsa Melbourne has reopened after the lockdown. The classes are great fun. Nice mix of people from various age and gender all keen to learn and try new things (most come on their own). Highly enjoyable session. Love it.

The owner of this establishment vandalised a friend's vehicle over a car spot dispute. When confronted about this she doubled down. She is clearly unhinged, hostile and unprofessional, I urge anyone reading this to take their business elsewhere.

I am an international salsa and bacheta student and was gifted some private classes at the Collingwood studio. I feel so blessed to have Frankie as my teacher. Such skill and experience. He is the only teacher I have met in Melbourne whose focus is totally on imparting his vast experience into the student, working at the level they are at and gently pushing improvement in a personal way to inspire. I cannot fully express what a joy it is to have such a teacher of this standard, especially after working with 3 other men in Melbourne who are simply about showing off their limited abilities and vast egos. Thank you, thank you, and thanks to those that support Frankie.

I haven’t taken one of their classes, but i attended their social on Tuesday night at the Grosvenor a few times now and I’ve always loved it. They play a good mix of salsa music with a hint of bachata. I highly recommend going for a little social or even to practice your salsa moves!

From the second I entered the Melbourne Salsa studio and was greeted by Gabriella, I felt like I had been welcomed into a family. Then having spent just one hour in Frankie’s beginner class I was completely hooked!
