Melbourne Pathology

Good morning to take blood… fasting till yesterday.
Came this place on Saturday morning.take que number…lots people waiting @ about 8am.place open @7.30am.
Still waiting…. Wait wait wait
Staff all good.need more staff… Saturday open hours short. 7.30am to 1pm only…
still need more Staff

I got my bloods here it was five minutes closing, and they did do all my bloods, and they were quick and the customer service was great. I’m glad they are open on Sundays and it makes my Sundays a whole much more better of the experience they provided.professionalism of them taking blood out of me was great. They were so nice.

Saw Hailey here to get a halter monitor put on and she makes you feel nice and comfortable and is very professional. She got everything done efficiently and was easy to talk to, we had a great chat.

I got bloods done here on the 14th of Jan to do the last checks before going into labour. I was 38 weeks pregnant.

I was the last one in the clinic, I came 25 minutes before they closed.
The lady made a big fuss about printing my request slip (as it was given to me by my midwife via email). She said she was having issues with the printer so I helped her navigate how to print the slip. She was rude and snappy and didn't like to be told. In the end, she was able to print it and there was no problem. She made a big deal and made me feel like a burden all for nothing.

Usually pathologists take blood from my right arm because there's a nice big vein. I let her know but she insisted to take blood from the left. She jammed the needle into my arm, it really hurt. Afterwards I had a very sore arm and a lot of bruising. This has never happened to me before!

Low and behold, she put the wrong details on my blood samples and the lab wouldn't perform the test because of this. Now I have to go back and get another test.

The lady was rude, arrogant and I can't help but think she was also spiteful.

Awesome and professional staff who put your nerves at ease the moment you walk in. I drive out of my way to use this pathologist because they're top notch, thanks again.

Lovely staff everytime I’m there! They’re open after 5pm too, which is awesome for 9-5 workers

Watch out a Indian!
Don't take the blood test from the Indians.they don't even find blood vessels well, and after the blood test, you will have very big bruises.
You can refuse them to do your blood test.but the others, Aussie ladies are fantastic.

Archana and all the staff at Kangan Drive Melbourne Pathology are some of the best pathologists I have ever had take blood! I always come here rather than the ones closer to me because they're friendly, gentle and prompt. Even though it's a small clinic, it just feels warm and welcoming.
They also let me wait in my car (as long as it was parked right outside) while doing the GTT (2hr test), which felt much safer being pregnant and with Covid all around!

Would like to sing the praises of Sam who took blood from me this morning. What a credit she is to Melbourne Pathology, such a friendly and caring personality.and it didn't hurt a bit. Thanks Sam.

Debbie at Edin rise branch was understanding and explained all procedures. She was polite, professional and friendly. She extracted the blood with no problem and explained the other tests required.

Usually this is the best pathology and one of the only places I get bloods due to collapsing veins & a lot of people struggle to get a vein. Today, I had someone who I've never seen before. She mangled my arm! I have a huge bump, its swollen & so sore. Even the worst attempt has left me bruised the day after. This is only 1hr after! I'm not going to mention nationality, because I don't believe it comes into it. However, if you see someone you haven't seen before, wait & ask for a different pathologist, especially if like me, you have issues with people finding veins. Bloods should never hurt. I felt less pain when I've had radiation injected into week old surgical scars.

The only place that draws blood with very little or no pain, very friendly staff, great with kids as well, won't go anywhere else.

I just had the most amazing experience, well, as good as you can get whilst going in for a blood test. The lady was so friendly, made me feel very welcome and comfortable, bubbly personality and seems to love what she does. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked through the door the staff are lovely here
