Melbourne Park reviews
36 Had a great time at AO, a very well organized event.
Was asked to put a small set of Speakers which had just bought as a gift into the lockers as it could not be taken inside which was fine untill the fact that the charges for the lockers were exorbitant at$15 which is half the price of the speaker. The list of unacceptable items said large sound instrument s not allowed and this was a small speaker half the size of my palm.
An Iconic of Sports, Concerts, Basketball, Netball, Events and of course
THA HOME OF THA AUSTRALIAN OPEN
Another example of why
MELBOURNE IS THA EVENTS CAPITAL
Massive sporting complex that's home to the Australian Open, A-League, AFL etc, as well as hosting various concerts over the years. This is the reason why Melbourne is commonly known as the sporting capital of Australia, and is well worthy of that title.
Always professional, never had any issue with scheduling as you can go before work. Way finding’s is fairly straight forward and you can park on site is you have an appointment.
The best win that all the melbourne united saporters have seen this year I think winning by 45 point win over the sydney kings united 125 to the kings 80
Great facility, very versatile, hosting all types of events. Great views of the city and Yarra River. Next to the beautiful Botanical Gardens
Sports facilitates done right. Concessions lack variety and are expensive, so don't plan to eat at the venue and it's not a problem.
Super fast venue team helped us run the Austral cycling event, and so close to Melbourne.
Hard to get on courts and to see who is actually training as the timetables over run, could do with more seats for big names
If carrying a suitcase, while walking a long way is your thing, then this place is quite nice. As there is no vehicle access to any of the central arenas.
Always a great place for sporting events in Melbourne. Friendly staff. Great place for the tennis open grand slam, AlF, cricket and rugby league. Easy public transport, plenty car park and Uber/taxi ranks. Plenty of eateries close by
Huge stadium, lucky enough to get on the roof terrace for a drink before the concert which has a great view.
Shania Twain Concert at Rod Laver Arena. Spectacular show. Very professional and high -tech. Well organised.
Good venue and loved how the venue hosted us with parking details, transport info and pram cloaking etc. We went here for the Wiggles Pop concert.
The ultimate experience of sporting arenas. On par with some international venues & well worth attending events held there. With ample parking, seating & food options it is definitely a go to.
Took my son here to watch Monster Jam. As well as visiting to watch the A League The stadium is well situated and easy to navigate once inside. I also have a disability and the staff made sure to offer support if the felt I needed it. They were very friendly and I would have no problem visiting again.
Something for everybody throughout the year at aami park maragaret crt, hisense and rod laver arenas
Katy Perry concert with my 13yo daughter, one of the best nights I've ever had. We felt safe, the staff of the venue do that very well.
Excellent concert quite loud Def definitely Hysteria although you can't do much support act a fave band from the early 70's had to cancel due to illness and one of my fave acts The legendary Scorpions but if there was any conciliation we saw them 2 years ago
Great venue especially when there are events on, so lively and some beautiful parks surrounding the area
