Dr slon is the most disrespectful director/pain specialist and thinks he's too good for everyone will definitely be losing he's license soon I'm going to take it further. Hes only in it for himself to make a buck every other pain specialist I've been too were In disbelief to the amount of rubbish he wrote down he made up whatever he wanted without my concentration

I went too see doctor slon about a knee injury a few months ago had so much surgery that Was recommended through this clinic it all failed. Dr slon made up in his own word that there's nothing else he can do to help me where now I'm seeing a different pain specialist and he's gone over and above with my pain he's helped me so much. And he also disregarded all the other doctors treatings and opinions.

Today I had an appointment with Dr Clayton Thomas and my expirence was by far fabulous. When I entered and discussed with him, he was very patient and kind. I discussed my problems and he was super understanding unlike other doctors I have been with. He understood what I was going through and has delivered the best appointment possible, he deserves high ticks for everything he has done since he has done such a wonderful job today with me. He gave a good description of what I required to do and was very clear with me. Thanks team and Dr Clayton Thomas.

I would also have to say do not waste your time with Dr Woodgate, waste of time and money and he blatantly lies. I have had pain for years and this would be the worst doctor i have ever met, it was horrible, he was smaarmy and knew it all, i have radicular nueropathy.his response.go to a hospital, i was disgusted in the service and the doctor a total waste of 250.00

Would not recommend Dr P courtney, cold, no beside manner, clearly not up to date in medicine, very old school and narrow minded, not to mention rude, but great at trying to belittle you. Recommend treatment that, yes 20 years ago was recommend, is no longer recommend because it causes patients to become more unwell and is dangerous.he needs to retire, 10 years ago!

My Mum had been with terrible pains for many years. Dr Slon was very good with her and provided a plan which helped her a lot. The pain for my Mum is not gone, but more manageable. Dr Slon was very clear and a good listener. Thank you

Dr Zamil Karim one of the most caring and amazing Anaesthetist and Pain Specialist. He was the anaesthetist in my first operation and my first and last pain specialist. My life without him would not be the same. In 2008, I sustain a basketball injury, after my operation I was suffering from Complex chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS) which resulted me having many complications which include being paralysed for 2 year suffering from seizures, tremors, migraines and asthma. In 2009, he started treating me for my CRPS and after in 2016 for my other chronic conditions and with a multidisciplinary approach under Dr Zamil’s, counselling psychologist Erica Lurie and psychiatrist Ganesan Duraiswamy guidance I am happy to say that after 12 years of suffering, in 2018 I was able to walk again pain-free, seizure-free and tremor-free.
Dr. Zamil went above and beyond to save my life. He is excellent and I trust him completely. I have been to over 20 specialists the best of the best, but they had no idea how to start treating me but Dr. Zamil, Erica and Ganesan are one those doctors that never gives up on you even if it’s the worst scenario that is one of their best qualities. If you are looking for an extremely thorough Doctor with compassion and exceptional ability you have found the right place. I can’t never thank Dr. Zamil and the other doctors enough for how this has changed my life and my family. Coming back to Zamil and joining the Melbourne pain group that was correct decision made.
Also, the staff at the front reception at Melbourne Pain Group Pascoe Vale are very supportive and caring. They always put the patient first no matter what!
Thank you for all you’ve done!

Appalled that after an hour of useless questioning and a physical exam by "Dr" Woodgate, $270 later we leave with nothing of use, no tips or trick or guidance but simply a referral for a waitlist! Fidgeting and unfocused the doctor asked the same question repeatedly (Not in the ask it a different way to see if you get a different answer, but as though he'd forgotten he asked it), Ignored my partner's responses, and lacked any kind of bedside manner! This man ("Dr" Woodgate) does not care about his patients or his chosen career path!

I would have walked out happy had he given the referall and a few tips or suggestions on how to help him manage his pain in the meantime but we got nothing! No answers on what exactly he was referring us to, how long we might expect to wait for the public one to open (private is 2 years) or what we can expect from it, baring what sounded like the skim of a broucher.

To top it off attempts at contacting the number given to pay the account have led to silence They either arent in or just left! The whole place is a joke! If you get a referral to here I highly suggest asking for a new referral! It has been 4 days since our appointment to the time I wrote this review to let my anger simmer as I had nit intended on writing one, but 4 days later the anger is still high, and the digust that people come to this man for help are turned away so frequently with such a lack of care or compassion, is still so high I just had to warn others away.

I can not say a bad word about dr. Thomas. Even though he now thinks lm an addict. I have had great days weeks even years but then the pain hits me and its crippling.
I have always made sure l dont get addicted by seeing another doctor.
I'm just sorry that now l will be in agony for l dont know how long. Its upsetting because lve always been honest with him. Still a great doctor

Whatever you do, do not waste your time and money seeing 'pain specialist' Christopher Woodgate.
I've seen many different specialists over the past year and a half with my pain and he is by far the most useless and unprofessional.
He didn't even try to hide the fact that he was absolutely clueless and didn't want to help.
He told me I had come to the end of the road and there were no further possibilities or medications for me to try.
When talking about my diagnosis he literally said "your guess is as good as mine".
It was as if the real Christopher woodgate had called in sick to work so they just pulled a random off the street. Unfortunately that wasnt the case.
I have since gone on to explore other diagnostic procedures and medication options, no thanks to Christopher woodgate.
Don't trust his positive write up on the pain matrix and pain management websites - he is not anything like he sounds.
If he has infact earnt his qualifications legally - it's gone in one ear and out the other - or maybe he has just lost all motivation to help people and be a contributing member of society.
I'm guessing it's quite a regular occurrence for his patients to be disappointed. I was so disheartened when I left the receptionists decided to take 200 dollars off the bill - which was still around $330 for a single not even half hour consult.

Woodgate dismissed all pain, even as I hobbled into his office. I could practically feel his eyes glazing over. He performed an examination while I explained my conditions, to which he confidently declared I did not suffer from. I sobbed when he bent my shoulder back and later found out I had bursitis and a torn muscle there. Dr Woodgate suggested diet and exercise, to which I explained that my pain and fatigue kept me from. Like some sort of startled robot he simply repeated his message. I have given him 3 chances. Every time, he has dismissed my debilitating pain, implied I have a low pain threshold, and practically accused me of drug seeking. Do not see this doctor. Do not pay this man for his incompetence.

Clayton Thomas is just brilliant and ius a leader in his field. I have been under Clayton Thomas and his extremely capable team since 2007 after a severe car accident until this very day. I don't think i would have coped this long with my pain mentally or physically without his amazing knowledge and the expertise of the teams that work along side him. Thank you so much to you all.

We came for a second OPINION only. The doctor was pushy, very preachy and was condescending. He then took it upon himself to write to TAC regarding his view on the situation without our knowledge or consent.
