Melbourne North Medical Clinic

I was gonna go to see this GP and just by reading all these reviews makes me sick already. How can I trust someone that had a really bad review? And look at who’s giving this GP a 5️, doesn’t it looks so obvious? Are they even real or they just been active to give him a good review?

Very strange Dr.
I don't believe he is very knowledgeable and very hard to understand his English. He kicked me out and told me to go to another GP, just because I asked him for a hospital referral instead a private clinic referral.
Didn't quite understand him what he was saying, but in any event, I won't be going back to this practice.

Dr. He was an easy going doctor, friendly attitude. You need to prepare questions you wanna ask before seeing him. He only has simple facilities to check your health.

DO NOT GO THERE.
They are too lazy to see the patient, they randomly tell you to go to other hospitals when you don’t need to. I wasted so much time thanks to them.

Doctor refused to give me a med cert after I had walked 2km to his clinic with a herniated disc. Stood in reception and just stared at me when he found out I needed a medical certificate. Would give minus stars of I could. Absolutely trash clinic.

Strange experience with this clinic. I had tooth pain and wanted to check if I needed antibiotics. Looked to see that they took walkin's which they do, and which the receptionist confirmed when I arrived in person.

But then I was told that I should go and see another GP and wouldn't allow me to book with them for a later date. No explanation as to why I couldn't book other than they are busy right now? No attempt to check times or dates that would be free, just flat out refusing and for some reason making a point to ask if I had been there before in a way that implied "no new customers".

If like me you are thinking about going here because it's convienent don't bother. If you are reading this because you had a bad experience here, you're not alone this place does indeed suck.

Dr. He is a really nice person with professional skills and knowledge. Every time when I get healthy problems I always go to his clinic. This clinic makes me feel warm just like I'm still in my home country ：)

Lovely Doctor Who listens well and has always provided me with quality treatment, assessment and diagnosis since I moved to north Melbourne just over two years ago. Bulk billing is a bonus. Wait times are generally much lower than at other bulk billing centres.

I've been here multiple times. Dr He is helpful and efficient, and speaks English well. The receptionist is also very friendly. The clinic is bulk-billing

I went to an Australian GP after injuring my thumb and they gave me the usual "come back in a week if it still hurts. " so I went to this Dr on referral from a friend. Upon inspection he told me it was broken but I should get an xray and sure enough it was broken. Top service. Better than your regular Australian GP that gives antibiotics/medcerts but no real service.

Closest Doctor to my work and somehow they don't pick up there phone. Called them 4 times today to make an appointment and still no answer, no voicemail either. That's poor service.

Doctor refused to prescribe me medication I was previously on, prescribed me the wrong medication which was more expensive than my previous and also gave me medication that had the opposite fact to what i needed.

I’ve been there since I got pregnant, he is the only doctor in the city who does bulk bill.
It’s very easy to book a appointment into, no long wait (most of the time).
My baby is almost one year old now, she had some vaccine here, and flu shot too.
All our family goes to him, he’s a pretty good doctor for us.

DON'T GO HERE. He couldn't write prescriptions for medications I am currently on. He also claims he "Cannot" draw up a mental health plan.
I have serious doubts as to him actually being a Doctor at all.
Absolutely disgusted and a total waste of my time.
I'd give this "Doctor" zero stars, but it's not an option.
I also notice that the positive reviews are near identical which makes me think he's gaming the system.

I was given a wrong script by Dr He, despite going back there to have the script changed (i.e. I was prescribed a medication that I had a reaction to and was no longer taking), Dr He not only denied making a mistake but also tried to cover up with some unreasonable reasoning. I understand that doctors make mistakes sometimes but am disappointed with the way he handled the situation.

Don't go. Wasted time. The doctor is unhelpful and provided inadequate information on my future consultation. I have to visit back the clinic to get more information. Waited long time and bad customer service. Disappointed.

I've visited Dr John He twice for minor complaints.

Each consult was under 10 minutes but felt that I received all the information needed along with a prescription required to treat the complaint. Suited me perfectly, as was in and out quickly.

Dr He is a fantastic doctor, fast, efficient and friendly.
English speaking, but appears to have a lot of Asian clients.
Bulk billing, which is fantastic so close to the CBD.

I have been going there three years and have never had a problem. He always gives me adequate medical advice if it's been just the common cold or a more serious problem. Easy to book an appointment and he is a really kind and understanding doctor.
