To all who have a loved one here in Springvale, take note of the cleanliness and surrounds near your place of visit simply fantastic to see. My mother and great-grandmother have a beautiful little spot under a tree, very tranquil, and a joy to visit. I noticed recently that the grounds have been beautified even more than before. I spent a good half-hour walking around and thinking what a great spot for my beloved ones. I even took time to look at others and thought that one day, I would be happy to rest at such a lovely garden setting.
My point is thank you, Springvale.we all pay a fee to keep our loved ones in a special place, and you've done a terrific job, I am impressed with your recent land scaping. Your staff should be congratulated on their efforts. God bless you all.

We have ordered three monuments from Melbourne Memorials before and recently ordered to add additional inscription in English, Russian and Hebrew to one of them. The job was performed with high quality, in time and very good customer service. Our family is very happy with the result.

Whilst always a sad experience organising a loved ones last resting place, Robert was empathetic and wonderful to deal with. Nothing was too hard. A difficult process made super easy. Thank you so much Robert and Staff for all your help and guidance.

Absolutely disgusted by the way in which this company operates. While grieving for my Mother, we were approached by this company, cold calling and touting for business. The person I complained to, couldnt see or understand how disrespectful and offensive this action was. In a time of grief, you dont need businesses touting for your business. Not to mention the lies and dishonesty when asked how they obtained my details.

To all who have a loved one here in Springvale, take note of the cleanliness and surrounds near your place of visit simply cause my mother and great-grandmother have a beautiful little spot under a tree and you would think that taking care of our part of the cemetery should at least be clean. But unfortunately, leaves and tree branches were covering my family's spot. I spent a good half-hour hour cleaning so I could see their plot. I even took time to do all others under the tree
My point is, please, Springvale, we all paid a fee to keep our loved ones in a special place, so how about getting your people a bit more effort in making our visit a lot more caring and do your job and look after our loved ones. Our Plot's deserve better, don't u agree. Take care all

This is one review I never thought I’d make…. The team at Melbourne Memorials went above and beyond to ensure design, production and the entire delicate process was implemented flawlessly. The daunting task of creating a timeless monument for my mother was made easier by their attention to detail and care for meeting cultural deadlines. For a task that any person would run from, Jackie, George and the team walked me through the process and made me feel confident with selections and decisions. I can’t thank them enough ️

I actually came here while extremely lost and late to a funeral service at the cemetery down the road. Thank you to the lovely woman who was working there today who was so calm, helpful and caring in her directions. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future need- it’s clear from my brief interaction that they would provide a personal, comforting and professional service.

Melbourne Memorials just completed a triple monument for our family and it exceeded our expectations in every possible way. I approached Christina and George with a photograph of a single monument that I absolutely loved and wanted to replicate. George traced the photograph of this monument back to a Cemetery in the UK. He contacted the designer, obtained the detailed drawings of this monument and set about adapting it to our triple. With his great attention to detail, his amazing can- do attitude, Christinas unwavering patience and support and the highly skilled craftsmen we have a beautiful monument and tribute to our beloved mother.

An uncomfortable emotionless front of office experience during the selection process with sales. Has left me uncomfortable for days. I have although placed an order with the company thinking a company is not one person based on price which was competitive and their product appears well made

I contacted Melbourne Memorials for a quote for a monument. The price was not the issue, the staff and contract was. I read the contract and had several items I wanted clarified, which they did.

We agreed on the changes to the contract but I was not allowed to note them and initial the changes on the contract and send it back to them.

They said "Sorry, we will not be accepting any addendum. It is our contract and our Ts & Cs that will be accepted as part of the contract. Any further negotiations such as acceptance of goods can be upheld as a good will agreement with regards to lockdown. "

The problem with that is their is a clause in the contract that explicitly excludes ALL written and verbal communication outside of the contract!

So they can have all the good will in the world, forget to fulfill the good will and I would be left in a position unable to dispute it because the contract excludes verbal and written communication outside the contract.

I advised that if I was unable to have these items included then I would not be able to proceed.

Staff responded with okay. I advised I was going to post this review of my experience with the company. The staff member said words to the effect, be careful what you say, and that l shouldn't do this to a small business in these tough times etc.

I would have thought that if times were so tough they would have agreed to my noting the small changes (that they agreed to) on the contract to proceed with the over $10,000 of work. As I pointed out to her, you buy/sell a house and you can make amendments on the contract, but not in this instance?

This is to the owner so he is aware of the decisions his staff are making and if this is his decision of how to do business, so be it. I did ask staff to have the owner call me before I post this. I do not know if staff did not pass my message on or he chose not to return my call, or was unable to respond prior to my post.

Thank you for your response. Yes. I will engage others to protect my consumer rights. I certainly did not want to sign a contract that said that I had to have your advertising on my memorial and risk not being protected if that advertising was placed on the memorial because you would not allow me to modify the contract to state the exclusion of this advertising on the memorial. I was not prepared to rely on your verbal agreement which, under the terms of your contact any verbal communication are excluded under the terms of your contract.
I am not suggesting at all that you would have acted improperly, however, if a mistake was made and advertising was placed on the memorial your contract would not have given me protections to have it removed or rectified. A risk I was not prepared to take.

All the staff at Melbourne memorials were very supportive and helpful to our family at a time when we were stressed and really at a loss to know how to go about organising what needed to be done at this emotional time. The result was beautiful. Thanks to all the staff involved.
