Melbourne Magician - Richard Vegas - Corporate Magician

I was fortunate enough to catch one of Richard's solo performances in Melbourne and it did not disappoint! It had a mixture of mentalism and cool visual effects while also thought provoking which I always appreciate in a show. I hope to catch his Paris Underground show at some point too.

I am the owner of Storyteller: The Baron's Tasting House, a speakeasy in Deniliquin NSW. I contacted the Melbourne Magician - Richard Vegas - to see if he would be interested in bringing his tour to my fancy little place. And let me tell you, if you're looking for an evening filled with wonder, laughter, and a dazzling array of spellbinding tricks that will leave you questioning the boundaries of reality, then Richard Vegas is your magician.

From the moment Richard stepped into Storyteller, our cocktail bar was instantly transformed into a realm of enchantment. He didn't just perform magic, he wove it into the very fabric of the evening, leaving every guest with an unforgettable experience.

Richard's skillset and craft are unparalleled. His illusions had us on the edge of our seats, and his mentalist acts left our jaws on the floor. His sleight of hand was seamless, his wit was quick and he had a charming way of involving the audience that made the experience feel personal and unique. I wish I had more time to devote to catching every part of his act, but at times I was too busy serving customers to even look up! Based on the oohs and ahhs and all kinds of exclamations I was especially envious of the audience!

What truly sets Richard apart is his charisma and his ability to connect with everyone he encounters. His sharp and engaging personality set the perfect tone for the evening. Crowd work can be challenging in country towns, but he handled every interaction with humor and grace, making each guest feel like they were a part of the magic, rather than just a bystander.

Storyteller hosts a variety of performances every month, but none have left such an impression on our patrons as Richard Vegas. His performance was more than just magic, it was also storytelling at its finest, weaving together a tapestry of delight and intrigue that captivated everyone, and this is something that I especially value.

I'm convinced this man is actually magic. I cannot believe the things he does! He's really the whole package, brilliant story teller, comedian, magician, can't take your eyes off of him, but still somehow never see whats going on until two solid objects seamlessly pass through each other, or something appears or disappears out of nowhere. Truely marvellous!

We had the Melbourne magician Richard Vegas perform for our lodge and also for a business function, doing a stage performance as well as magic at close quarters throughout the function. Richard is professional, accommodating, considerate and easy to deal with and importantly he asks the right questions to deliver the most appropriate performance for the audience he is performing to. I have seen him do 2 completely different types of stage performances and both were world class and brilliantly baffling and both were very, very impressive. I would not hesitate to recommend him. If you are looking for a magician in Melbourne or anywhere in Australia, you would be hard pressed to find a better one than Richard Vegas.

Richard is hands down the funniest person i've seen.he's a super star everytime i see him on stage! Totally recommend!

What a star! Richard entertained guests at our 2019 Corporate End of Year Celebration and he was fantastic. With no fuss, Richard mingled with guests and blew our minds with a great arrangement of magic. Highly recommend!

We had our 40 minutes show with Richard in our office Christmas party, Richard has exceeded expectations and performed various tricks and engaged us by his speech on History and Psychology which was 100% related to the tricks he was performing in the show. We felt glad and enjoyed his show, I will definitely keep him in my mind for future parties and recommend him to my friends. Richard is also great in communication as I was hosting the event and he is one of the easiest person to arrange the quote, discuss our agenda, entry and exit timings, logistics etc.

Richard absolutely captivated our audience which included friends, family and committee board members. He also improvised under some unforeseen circumstances (our tech wasn't working and he had to re-arrange his set) and still put on a 10/10 show! He was so kind, gentle, funny and incredibly talented. We would LOVE to have him again. We highly recommend him for any event, and we are eternally thankful for his kindness and support for vulnerable people within community. We hired Richard for 2 hours as entertainment for our Work Christmas Party and he did not disappoint. He was brilliant with all the people he engaged with and kept everyone thoroughly captivated during his various roaming acts. Would certainly hire his services again. Thanks again Richard.

We had a 5-hour long corporate event for 100-200 people, with Richard being very helpful & flexible on advising the best & most efficient way of entertaining them.
We ended up having ~120 attend, and Richard was able to charm pretty much them all! He was able to integrate into the crowds & professional conversations quite easily, pulling out the tricks seamlessly.
All in all, I highly recommend Richard for a corporate event of any size or topic.

Richard performed his MAGIC at my 70th Birthday (at Donovans St Kilda) with an audience ranging from 3 to 83 & thrilled us all; everyone was enthralled with his “magic”; it brought many smiles to my guests & especially my 9 Grandchildren; it was a surprise for them & made the day even more magic.
