Melbourne Kebab Station reviews
69 Love this place been here 3-4 times now
Kebabs are awesome
Cheap too
Cash only, keep it cash!
Worth the drive
I am living one hour dive away but I always make time to go there. The food especially shish Kabab is really delicious just Love this place
Very disappointed from yesterday went for iftar on weekend nite all the way from one hour drive lamb was finished on iftar time only chicken was left had no choice ordered a chicken roll very cold and flavourr less 1 star cash only is not a good idea nonone carry cash now adays
It was probably my last visit to this place after facing extreme rudeness from the man wearing cap. It wasn't the first time but today it was shocking I guess he's the owner of the place. He says whatever comes in his mind. The previous owners were so nice but this guy doesn't know what a customer service is.
This place is a circus.
Witnessed the owner yelling at a man looking at the menu to get him to hurry up & order. It was so unpleasant.
Food was average at best. Kebab was cold all the way through (they made it in about 15 seconds which I guess is why). The kebab shop a few stores down is significantly better.
And the worst part, it's cash only in 2023, I wonder why.
The felafel is not very good, quite dry but the other options seem pretty delicious and the bread is great, so im open to giving them another chance- just not felafel
I love MKS. We come here once a week and enjoy the ginormous servings and the scrumptious food. My favourite is the sheesh kebab meal the capsicum and hummus dip. Just writing about the freshly baked bread is making my mouth water!
One of the best kebab shops in Melbourne. Quality food and service. I always order the mixed meal with carrot dip and it never disappoints. As a bonus they also provide complimentary bread! What more do you need. The small meal is very filling, I haven't attempted the large yet.
This is a family operation. Warm and friendly. Big servings. Cash only. Not the cheapest option, but a place I don't hesitate to go when I'm in the area and I want a kebab and other dishes cooked with skill and genuine pride in the final dishes. Highly recommended.
I can’t explain how dirty n rude customer service this restaurant has, the worst treatment ever. I asked for water n bread couple of times n they didn’t listen also i ordered take away and the gave me bread from rubbish i saw them taking bread out of the rubbish bag and they denied it. I asked to give me another bread but the boss didn’t let the worker too. They gave me order not as i asked and asked to refund the boss was super rude n said take it and leave. Is that how customer service is it’s so unacceptable just for money. I highly don’t recommend it like don’t waste your time or money at that place seriously
Best kebab in Melbourne hands down. Excellent customer service always a great experience going in!
The food was really nice, the meat was tender and tasty! And their bread, omg! ‘Twas crispy on the outside and soft on the inside perfect with their hummus dip! The staff was super wonderful and very accommodating. Will definitely coming back here!
Very upset with the food today lamb was very dry and burned out and it was not warm also
Mention to the person serving he just ignored
And told the person on the counter he just told took the money and replied, thank you
If God have given you this much good name don't spoil it will this behaviour
It's was about $$$$ you should care about the interest we took to come and have good food bit very bad never expected to this changed behaviour with time.
Quality of food gone downhill.prices sky-rocketing. Used to be decent but now kebab is just full of skin and fat and pieces of meat which looks like it's brains.
I have ordered lahmacun which was tasteless, staff weren't friendly either. They didn't give me cutlery, serviette etc. I popped in and take some serviette. Also, I asked chili flakes as well and the person behavior wasn't friendly at all while giving it. This place is one of oldest kebap place here and this behaviours aren't nice accordingly. They only accept cash, my cash was $2 short at least she was ok with that.
Wow! Just wow!
Amazing kebab, reminded me of the kebabs I had in Istanbul, a little pricey but at least the price comes with quality, far better than a cheap $10 kebab from a truck
Always manage a good wholesome small meal when i find a spare table. V busy & popular despite recent WW events as it's a gathering point for family meals & friends catching up.
Whether it's a falafel or meat mix dish, accompanied by salads dips & an abundance of turkish bread u can't go wrong.
Never going to this place again. Spent $15 for a kebab which is to be honest very expensive. Was taking one extra napkin from the counter, owner jumped in and said you already got one napkin, go home and wash your hands.
Falafel kebab was very nice with generous portions. Bread is top notch. Chips were a let down however.very dry, cold and the oil tasted old. My partner got food poisoning (i didnt eat the chips luckily).
Always stop here. The management fantastic delicious varieties of food dips fresh bread Atmosphere perfect Hats off to staff super friendly
