We had very good experience at MIVF in 2015. We faced challenges to have a baby because of my PCOS and hypothyroidism. We even tried a few cycles of hormonal treatment which weren’t successful. I consulted Dr Rachael Knight at MIVF and were successful in the first IVF cycle. We had our beautiful daughter in 2016 and in 2023 we had our second daughter naturally.

Solo mum to be here. After two unsuccessful IUI rounds, I was moved to IVF. I don't like that a new donor needed to be selected, but understand why.
I had Dr. Hale and Dr. Lantsberg work with me.
Both have such a kind, progressive, honest and supportive approach.
The nurses at Melbourne IVF are amazing! I love how helpful they were after every single appointment and/or procedure. No question was treated as though it was stupid.
Currently 12 weeks pregnant.

Staff are friendly and caring. The nurses are very responsive to all of your concerns and in one word, you are not just a number to them. I can't thank them enough. I was with Professor Tsaltas. He is not only an amazing doctor but he is a sympathic caring person who wants success for his patients from heart and he doesn't wait for multiple failures to do something because he truly has sympathy for his patients and what they are going through. I am so happy I decided to change my doctor and continue my journey with Professor Tsaltas. My husband and I are grateful to him forever.

My wife had an embryo transfer there and with three brand new (young) doctors present the nurse had to explain to them how to do the procedure. Tells you everything you need to know.

I got pushed onto Melbourne IVF when I thought I was going through Royal women’s. It seems they may have now broken ties with them?
Severe stage 4 endo survivor. I had questions which they very rudely wouldn’t answer. I was told word for word by Melbourne IVF consultant I kid you not “I don’t have time for this” yet had consent papers shoved under me. I was completely gob smacked that the biggest decision one can make in life they didn’t have time for. What are they paid for then? I since learnt after refusing to sign and pushing for further info that I was actually eligible for bulk bill ivf and would have been rorted over 20 grand had I let Melbourne ivf push me into things. They want money for councelling, money for donors councelling, money for absolutely every little thing. Like the below review a bit further down says. How have they not been investigated yet? I’m thankful for the rudeness now only thing is I’m 40 and my ivf has been delayed because of them.

We wanted a child, not only for our own sake, but to also keep tabs on our Autistic child in the future. We tried overseas with donors, but with no success. My wife was nearly fifty and when we were told we had a donor at MIVF I was skeptical. It worked first time and felt right the whole way after the embryo transfer. I can't thank MIVF enough.

At every stage, the MIVF team made the process as smooth and comforting as could be. I felt fully supported and lovely support was only ever a phone call away. We saw Prof Jim Tsaltas who was simply incredible aswell as empathetic at every turn. Thank you every x

Stay away from this place. If you are after an IVF service, then the journey here will be milking your money for a devastating emotional and financial experience. The teams are careless and personnel are rude in some cases. There is no consideration that the patients are paying a lot of money to get a service. This is a place where the business mentality is only to take as much money as possible regardless of how bad the service they offer is.

I only wrote the above to advise patients that I know how they feel to stay away and safe from this experience. Look for another place for better service or call for the government to establish a high quality and well regulated center for this type of health service.

I could not NOT recommend this clinic more.
I wish they were half as efficient at doing their job as they are at collecting payments.
The already ridiculous expensive fees are topped up with even more unnecessary "zoom" consultations/counseling putting undue pressure on people that are already under a substantial emotional and financial duress.
The personal is as useful as call center in India, no-one ever knows anything and they'll punt you in contact with some other department only to be told in the end to send an email because they don't know how to reply on the phone.
The fee schedule is dodgy and opaque, it's nearly impossible to get a clear picture of the total costs as they will always forget to mention some extras that are "not part of the cycle".
A huge amount of their made up fees are not even medicare rebatable as they cannot provide an item number for it.
Both their nurses and their so called experts will hardly remember your name and where you are at in your cycle so prepare yourself to explain everything about your case every time you interact with them as they will have no idea, including their specialists which charges hefty fees anytime they force you to a consultation that could have been a 5 line email and for which they will not even bother to educate themselves about your case.
Last but not least, forget about urgency as this place will take his own sweet time to return your call, email, etc.unless they'll need to collect a payment, in which case efficiency will suddenly kick in.
Frankly, I'm astonished this clinic is not under some kind of investigation yet.

The level of incompetence at MIVF is beyond belief. They made my IVF process unnecessarily emotionally devastating, financially burdensome, stressful to the point of significant impacts on my mental health and did so without any evidence of care for me as an individual or patient. Even months after I have left this clinic I am still dealing with the consequences of their astonishing ineptitude and disregard for the patient.

Service is fine, but claiming the Medicare Benefit is a nightmare. They don't accept payment on site, instead sending you an SMS a day or so later. But, the receipt from this process doesn't show the services you received, and won't be accepted by Medicare. Instead you need to contact Virtus Diagnostics and request a proper invoice. You can't call the recommended number because there is no one available, so you need to email them and wait for a response instead. What normally takes 15 seconds at any other medical facility, ends up taking days and can leave you out of pocked for weeks.

The customer service is just horrible. They don’t have proper check in system in there and using their own checklist online form which I didn’t understand at all. ️ Be careful before you put your details into the online form because you don’t know either it’s a safe or not. ️

Recommend to stay well away from Dr Julianne Cameron. We have spent months being shifted from one appointment to the next. Last week, she didn't even bother to reschedule, she just didn't show up.

I would assume that it may not be every doctor at the clinic, possibly just Dr Julianne Cameron that is particularly rude, and has no respect for your time.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this particular doctor.

I had my first baby at Melbourne IVF and now Im pregnant with my second one again thanks to their procedures.
Highly professional staff and reliable company. Special mention to my doctor dr Cattrall she will go above and beyond to make our dreams come true.
We really struggle to get pregnant the first time and when we finally met dr Cattrall and we joined Melbourne IVF it didn’t take long to find the right medication and the right procedure. Second time around it was even easier because they already knew us and we tried the same procedure that got me pregnant the first time and it worked.
We suffered for many years but we then got extremely lucky to get pregnant twice.
We owe everything to Melbourne IVF and dr Cattrall ️

We will forever be thankful for the genuine kindness and empathy shown by all within the MIVF team on our journey to becoming parents. Our specialist Dr Genia Rozen was attentive and sensitive, touching base with us in a gentle manner after an initial failed attempt and then again to celebrate our success on the second round. Everyone from the PLA to the technicians in the lab, the accounts team to the Nurses were so professional and acted with such patience talking us through every single step to settle our anxiety. Special mention needs to be made to Brianna, Dr Rozen's secretary who was an incredible support and always went above and beyond. Thank you MIVF!

Dr Kokum was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked through the door. She explained every step of the journey which is very reassuring. Dr Kokum made you feel welcomed and is very friendly. Thanks to Dr Kokum I got my little family that I have always steamed for. I could not thank her enough.
