Melbourne Historical Crime Tours

This is our second time we have undertaken a Melbourne Crime tour with Michael our tour guide. His knowledge through years of accurate research via Police records provided us with an exciting insight into the crime of years ago. His ability to address questions from the tour is greatly appreciated as well. Even with the rain which eventuated he was able to adapt the tour and provide rain protection for everyone. Well worth it and we look forward to our next visit to Melbourne and our next Crime tour. Thanks Michael

Lovely meander around my home town, learning parts of history I had no idea of! Very enlightening.

It was fascinating to learn about the layers of history where we live. Walking down the city streets, you'd have no idea of the characters that once called the place home. Just the right amount of information and walking without being a stretch. Really well done!

This is an excellent tour for anyone interested in true crime, gang-related rivalries and revenge, and Melbourne's very interesting history.
The tour guide really knows his stuff, and is able to accommodate the particular interests of the audience and answer questions with accuracy and confidence.
This is the second time I've done this tour. I did it in 2019, and when I came back the other day, it was still fresh and interesting. Easily one of the best history tours I've done from around the world. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved doing the Historical Crime Tour with Michael, last month when I was in Melbourne. The amount of history that was said during the tour was amazing. Didn’t realise there was so much criminal history there. Totally recommend doing the tour.

I received the True Crime Tour of Fitzroy as a Mother's Day present and had a fantastic afternoon with Michael who brought the seedy old days of Fitzroy to life for us. Such interesting history shared by someone who clearly loves what he does and researches everything himself.
I highly recommend this adventure into the past and will never look at Fitzroy in quite the same way again! (I'll love it even more)

Michael Shelford's tour and commentary of the Little Lon area was informative and good fun. I learned a lot about my city I didn't know. Michaels knowledge and enthusiasm is obvious. I would highly recommend booking your self on a tour weather your a Melbournian or a visitor.

Did this tour whilst visiting Melbourne last week. Michael certainly knew his stuff and provided a good time. Highly recommend, my only advice would be to rug up if you’re not used to the cold!

Wow what an experience. The tour guide took us back in time we felt like we were in the late eighteen hundreds amongst the criminals. What an amazing story teller. We highly recommend this tour.
