Melbourne Groceries reviews
46 Great south Asian grocery store with a wide variety of products (no fresh vegetables however).
Prices are on most products but not all unfortunately which makes budgeting a touch difficult.would return
Excellent store for all Indian spices. Best prices store. Shan spices brand also available. Very friendly service by salesmen specially Ahmed. Very close to Docklands city tram 109 from Collins Street drop @ church street and a minute quick walk to store. Great and timely home delivery service also available. ThankQ Melb Grocy!
I don't usually write reviews, but felt this would bring awareness to the shop as well as people shopping there. Even though I don't frequent this place, I do visit it sometimes. Just wanted to let anyone reading this know, please think twice before buying any atta that they have put in their own packaging, I found moth larvae in mine after I had already used it twice. I know it's common with atta that has expired. I was looking for 1kg ashirwad atta which I couldn't find and asked them if they had any. They suggested I take the one with their packaging as they had apparently distributed a 10kg ashirwad atta into 1kg individual packets. I was naive enough to believe them and ended up purchasing it. All I am saying is, buyers be aware before buying, shop owners, please don't sell expired or unchecked atta to make the extra buck, especially when there are students frequenting your shop.
Best place for local groceries. Locally made Paneer, Ghee and Yoghurt. Best service going around. The owner goes above and beyond.
Finally found an Indian which delivers in CBD and inner CBD suburbs.
They have everything that you need and all the popular brands. The experience is overall smooth and very trust worthy.
They are genuinely helping people who don’t have cars as things like pluses/flour/rice etc is otherwise extremely difficult to carry due to their packaging and weights.
Best indian grocer in Melbourne. The owner Ahmed is very friendly and gives great recommendations on products
Very bad experience! Recently I buy a noodle from this store. The noodles was out dated at July/2022 they are sell the noodles which was outdated over a 5 month.this is such a disgusting!
Please be careful what you selling some one may dye cause of your mistake.
It has most of the indian products under one roof.owner mr ahmed and staff deepi are very friendly and they help you a lot in selecting products. Prices of products are
reasonable. They give 5% discount too if asked. Best shop in Richmond
I have been visiting this store for the past 3 years.
This is the only Indian store in this area and it is very convenient as the next store is in Hawthorn which is quite a distance if you don't have a car.
They also provide home delivery around Richmond for free and they also do catering on order. The delivery is quick and the food is tasty too.
This store is laid out very well and you will get most of the Indian spices you will ever need. The owner is great and welcoming. He also puts up prices for most of the items in stores which is not common for Indian stores.
There were 2 instances where I bought a product which was past its best before date but this was not a common practice with other products
They also don't have stock for a lot of things like roti paratha, paneer, schezwan chutney etc.
Overall a good store with a good owner.
Had the sweetest encounter at the store with the owner/staff. Service that puts a smile to you face never goes unappreciated.
For last 8 years been going to buy my Indian groceries, never been dissatisfied or disappointed. Very friendly and helpful staff. One gets everything you want. Always love the feedback and improve.
Impressed with the customer service
Always have a good deals on the products
Gives you the honest reviews about the products
Best Grocery shop in Melbourne I guess. Huge selection of products, you get almost everything that you need. Supportive Owner, good gesture. Loved it.
Called in for a few items - this has to be the most helpful store from here to NZ and the UK. Best products, most helpful, this will definitely be my No1 place for everything.
5 star for the owner who helped me out today by opening the place quite earlier than normal time on my request!
Thank you
Worst service
Time management not good
No friendly staff
Open time is wrong as well
Not perfect communication
Very good customer service. You can everything in a single store. I found the rice after searching it for almost 3 4 stores.
Excellent selection of millets, lentils and spices. I come here often to stock up and they’re always very helpful!
Amazing staff and the best part was all things under one roof. Got everything what I was after.
If you’re unsure of how to use an ingredient or where it may sit, the friendly staff always go above and beyond to help! A one-stop shop for spice, rice, and subcontinental treats!
