Met Dr Jonathan Tan through Epworth Richmond Emergency recently.and truly like to commend his care through my stay as his patient.

I had a procedure with a different doctor and unfortunately developed signfiicant bleeding after I had polyps removed. I couldn't get in touch with the same doctor and had no choice to present to the emergency department.

Dr Tan was on call at Epworth Richmond where he was notified and instructed the doctors in the Emergency department with a plan initially. I then met Dr Tan who was very patient in explaining the need for a repeat procedure and stopped my bleeding during the procedure, all organised very quickly! He also found another large polyp that he helped removed a few weeks later without any incident, avoiding the need for surgery.

HIs Receptionists were very helpful in guiding me and explaining to me the bowel prep instructions. They were also very clear in indicating why there was a Gap charged given that my initial presentation was an emergency and the complexity involved which I understood and happy to pay the gap for all his efforts.

I would highly recommend Dr Tan to anyone who truly wants a doctor who cares and is proficient in what he does!

I was a patient of Dr. Jonathan Tan at Epworth Richmond hospital. Because I chose to discharge myself early against medical advice, he refused to send my GP a list of follow-up tests. His receptionist told me that while Dr. Tan normally charges no gap fee, he was going to charge me $500 and refused to contact my GP until this payment was made. He has still not sent me an invoice describing the gap payment, and he is still withholding the list of tests my GP should order. I would do anything to avoid seeing him or anyone associated with this unethical and perhaps criminal disaster of a human.
