Everyone I dealt with from the company were easy and great to work with. They had great communication and easy to follow instructions for us to get the best out of our booking. Kim was our DJ and also so easy and fantastic to work with, he was very self-sufficient with good communication also. On the day he set up himself and played music in line with the very open brief he was given providing fantastic atmosphere for our party.

We booked Daniel D from Melbourne Entertainment Co (MEC) as our wedding DJ, and are so chuffed we did! Communication with MEC was great - exactly what you need when planning a wedding! MEC provided clear details of what we needed to do and when. We also recieved timely responses from both Daniel D and MEC when we contacted them prior to the wedding. On the night, Daniel D read the room really well and had everyone on the dance floor for the whole night, seamlessly played the songs we had requested before the event, but also ensured that song requests on our "do not play" list were not played (or that we were consulted before they were). Thank you MEC and Daniel D for your efforts - we loved our reception and working with you!

We had the honour of having Ian (DJ&Sax) at our wedding! He was incredibly professional, attentive, fun and friendly. Everybody was on the dance floor the whole night, including our grandma! Amazing! We recently used the team at Melbourne Entertainment Company for a corporate event and they made the whole process so easy. Tom (Charlie) was our DJ / Sax and he was so flexible, easygoing and provided the perfect mix of party and while helping with our awards celebration. He got everyone dancing, singing and partying. Amazing team with easy communication leading up to our wedding in May 2023. DJ Kim was an absolute star. Everyone had nothing but praise for how good the music was from start to finish, it was too bad the night ended.

Sean can be summed up in one word "Amazing". He asked for a few songs that were must plays at our event and from that was able to understand exactly the vibe we were going for. He played the songs we asked for but also added in some more that completely matched the vibe. It was also such a seamless transition between sets. He really knew how to energise the crowd by passing his energy to us! Also he knew how to keep the energy going without it becoming repetitive which was really good in sustaining everyone's high moods throughout the night.

I was over the moon when I saw Jam the Piano-Man on MEC's booklet. After witnessing one of his performances at Murmur Bar, I had no doubt that he would be adored by our guests. Jams talent is mind-blowing, and his ability to captivate an audience is unmatched. From the moment he reached out to me, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His level of organisation and professionalism was commendable, making the entire process a breeze. We were delighted to see that he went the extra mile by researching our club and dressing in our colours on the day! I spoke with Alannah and Dane who were both fantastic communicators and they made the experience super enjoyable and easy! Fantastic service by all involved!

MEC where a dream to work with. We found ourself with the need for a DJ with only a few days notice and Stephanie was so quick and professional to organise us a number of Options. The whole process was so easy and professional. Our DJ on the night was Michael, who went above and beyond at every opportunity to ensure our guests were having a good time. We threw a couple of last minute requests at him, and he took them in his stride and was more than happy to accommodate. The music exactly meet our very specific brief and created the perfect atmosphere. The dance floor quickly filled and stayed that way! Thanks Team!

We received so many compliments having Jaaz (Jeremy) at our EOFY event! The music and atmosphere it brought made the event a huge success.

We had Charlie work his magic at our Wedding Reception, and he was brilliant. He was easy to plan with, he played all of our must-play songs, and then took requests from our guests and knew exactly how and when to weave them together to get the dance floor absolutely pumping all night.

He will absolutely nail the formalities, then start your dancefloor and keep it going until you wish you didn't have to go home!

We had Tyla as our wedding DJ and she smashed it out of the park.
In the pre-wedding day chats, we gave her the brief of being fairly open to reading the room but would like her to play songs from a playlist we curated throughout.
She did just that, and once dancefloor opened properly you could see she was watching/listening to what people were into.
Would definitely recommend her and MCE for any event!

We had Nathan - DJ/ Sax & OMG everyone couldn't get enough of him. The vibe at our wedding was next level. Everyone loved watched Nathan just smash our the sax in the middle of the dancefloor.

Nathan was our multi talented three-in-one MC, DJ and sax player extraordinaire for our wedding on 17 Feb 2023. He was super professional and incredibly friendly, he got the party started and opened the dance floor by playing the sax and kept the party going by playing all the best music. As our MC he kept the pace of the day flowing with a fun and friendly energy, he checked in with us throughout the day and ensured everything ran smoothly. We hired MEC for our wedding in Nov 2022, Taylor to sing and play the piano during our ceremony and sing and play the guitar during canapés, and Nathan to DJ/sax at our reception. They were both truly amazing and have had us and our guests raving about it ever since. Our guests honestly still mention how awesome the DJ sax was, it was definitely a highlight for them!
