Dr Gan is very knowledgable, reassuring and is always willing to answer any of my questions. The nurses are also very professional and approachable too. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly happy and helpful, which makes the experience here so much more enjoyable! Thank you so much, team!

Amazing group of dermatologists. I recently had cosmetic treatment here too and the nurse was incredible. So happy with the results and highly recommend.

Doctor really good but very disappointing that no query re cough/cold/covid symptoms at front desk when you check in, as there is at all other medical practices. Two separate patients coughing everywhere in the small, almost full waiting room, not wearing masks and not even covering their mouths, is very unhygienic and unpleasant.

This place is fabulous! Such a welcoming staff and so knowledgeable and professional. I have had a complete 180° in skin health I am beyond happy!

Initial consultation happened nearly three months after booking and a very ‘by the book’ process was applied before concluding that the cause of my problem was not identified. Then a ‘trial and error’ of applying a number of different steroid based medications for treatment. The same problem lasted nearly 3 years and getting worse! (Not to mention the mental stress this has caused) Ironically, the clinic was calling every few weeks trying to book me into their laser treatment!
Then ran into a pharmacist who recommend a treatment for a ‘common’ skin issue. Problem solved! Lead me thinking is there any specialty that Dr Gan has provided?
Of course this is an individual case but I will NEVER come back again!

Appears there is a 6-7 month waiting list for new appointments. I have a major flare up of dermatitis and this is an absolute joke.where is the duty of care to see emergency patients? Extremely dissatisfied and underwhelmed by the lack of care and compassion.hardly deserving of a 1 star rating.

Dr Sarah Shen is very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner, always listens very carefully to concerns and never rushes through the consultation, I would highly recommend her!

I've been getting UV treatment at this clinic regularly for the last few months and have really enjoyed coming in and being greeted and served by Catherine. She has always got such a positive and attentive attitude.

They made me wait 20min, then had a 5min consultation chat where I was told to go to another dermatology. I was charged $90 for this. I'm not impressed.
Update: they have contacted me and satisfactorily resolved the financial concerns.

Not one to write reviews but feel compelled to after my experience here. Dr Desmond Gan is a very caring doctor who has done wonders for my skin! The entire team has looked after me so well especially during such trying times. The years of chronic illnesses, along with sun damage, have wreaked havoc on my skin. A series of amazing treatments here have made me feel like a new person! I feel rejuvenated and more confident within myself. Thank you! I've already started recommending this clinic to my family and friends.

Dr Desmon Gan is a awesome doctor and a down to earth human being. He treated my son. My son was so depressed due to his condition but Dr Gan used to talk to him about basketball and made my son relax. Never ever rushed us took his time answered all our questions.

I had my first appointment with Dr Desmond Gan a months ago and I just wanted to write that he was just the best, he was so kind, thorough and didn’t rush my consultation at all. I left the clinic feeling so happy, hopeful and glad to have found him!

I have now been to the clinic twice, once seeing Dr. Julia Rhodes and also Dr Desmond Gan both doctors incredibly patient and knowledgeable.
The reception staff are also so friendly, I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr Gan was very professional and efficient with his appointment with myself. Every question I asked he was able to give me a detailed response which was more than helpful. He went above and beyond my expectations and I highly recommend the Melbourne Eastside Dermatology clinic!

First appointment, straight away medication. Second appointment, even stronger medication. Dissatisfied with waiting time. 20 minutes waiting too long. Due to COVID, 15 minutes appointment time, however, price is still full price. They disregard concession card and made me full price - very unprofessional.

Although the waiting times were sometimes quite long, I was so satisfied with the service I got and am very happy with my skin. Dr Celestine Wong is brilliant, very supportive, has great advice and showed genuine concern.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Gan and his team. My 13 month daughter suffered a rare skin condition and it wouldn’t have improved without Dr. Gan’s accurate diagnose and professional treatment. His team including the receptionists are very lovely and attentive too. The clinic also has a very high standard of hygiene practice, a great peace of mind during this unusual time.

Thank you Dr Gan for your patience. With your advice, my condition has improved. I highly recommend anyone with skin issues to consult him.

I am extremely impressed with Dr. Celestine Wong in this clinic. She is really good, professional and at the same time very friendly. Her diagnosis and treatment were accurate and I got a vast improvement quickly. I would recommend Dr. Celestine Wong and this clinic for dermatology concerns.

I wish there is no star for me to select, but anyway here is one star for your clinic! The worst customer service and system ever, no comments on Dr Desmond Gan, coz not even got chance to see him, from manager Olivia to from reception Sharon and another lady, messed up with your file, appointment date, and don't even trust your patient. Disrespectful!
