Melbourne Drum Teacher

I’ve been having lessons with Michael and he is really good musician and very patient. Really recommend him for who wants to learn and improve on the drums!

With no prior experience in drumming, I knew I wanted to give drumming a shot. When I approached Michael to teach me - my perspective changed from just giving a shot to "you can do it" types. Michael has his expertise in drumming. He is a good experienced drummer, knows music well and is a very good teacher as well. As a teacher he understood my zero experience in drumming and has very patiently elevated my confidence to be a better drummer by every passing class. Michael has helped me to slowly gain proficiency in drumming through his ability. I am still a learner but not a drumming novice any more. Thanks Michael for the good teaching. Keep it up!

Michael is an amazing teacher with an encouraging and personalised approach, who goes above and beyond for his students. Since starting lessons with Michael as an absolute beginner, not only has he taught me how to play different beats and improve my technique, he's also helped me to build my confidence and feel at home at the drum kit. His lessons incorporate playing along to music from the very beginning, which I've found really motivating. Michael's passion for drums and music is inspiring and he is a natural born teacher. Mike is a great drummer and more importantly a very astute teacher who has a great attention to detail. In my experience with getting lessons from him he has helped me to continue to develop the technical fundamentals and break poor habits. Very flexible and easy going guy!
