Melbourne Dental School

I can't afford a conventional dentist service. I come here exclusively. If the students don't know something then the teacher comes over and does the work. Probably the same teacher that taught your local professional dentist. So you actually get better care from a more skilled practitioner, or someone who needs to do a good job to you to get a high grade. Not a dude who has been working for years, is jaded and just wants to go home. I can't see the point in going anywhere else (I'm on a healthcare card so this service is free).

Went to look at the dental 'museum' here (as mentioned in several guide books), but it's not really a museum, more a very small room (perhaps 3x3 metres) with a small handful of exhibits from the Victorian times. Definitely not worth going out of your way to visit.

They were great! I have dental anxiety, they were patient and kind in my consult adn made sure I was referred warmly onto a service that could help me, as the student's level of knowledge wasn't up to what was needed for me. I really appreciate the professional and kind way I was treated it really makes a difference to people with dental anxiety. Thank you!

100% the WORST Dentist I have been to in my life. Please don't go here unless you want uneducated dental students prodding your mouth. I had to go home and eat a whole block of chocolate to recuperate.
