Highly recommended to anyone who likes to improve their skills. I’ve been attending for one on one coaching with coach Prabath for batting and bowling from few months now and I can feel a great improvement on my batting and bowling. Not limited to cricket skills he’s also building our fitness skills, mentality and confidence as well. If you’re a cricketer who’s keen to improve your skills and techniques this is the best place for it.

Prabath and the team of coaches at MCC have helped lift my game immensely in the past year and I highly recommend their coaching if your interested in getting a professional outlook into your game and techniques. The skill and experience Prabath has is unmatched and is proven by the results I have been having in my games. Thank you Prabath and the team at MCC for all the help:)

My boys have been attending MCC one to one sessions for a while. They have had a significant improvement in their cricket while having a lot of fun. Coaches are professional, pay attention to detail and motivate the players to achieve their best potential. I highly recommend Prabath and the team of coaches at MCC. Excellent service!

This will have to be probably one of my longest reviews. I have given Melbourne Cricket Coaching (MCC) 2 stars with my reasoning below.

First, the good side. The trainers all clearly know what they are doing. The facility is good and the trainers' attention to detail in correcting ones technique is very good.

However, the service and empathy received, I feel is far below average to say the least. Especially by Australian standards.

I had attended 3 private one on one training sessions at the time and had pre booked and paid for my next two as I was happy with how things were done.

On the day of my next training session, I injured myself during my actual club training and was rendered unable to attend the MCC training session. The moment I got injured I immediately notified my trainer. As I do respect his initial teachings I wont name names. I did not ask for a refund. I didn't believe it was fair to ask for a refund based on my injury. But I did request that I be able to attend a make up session. All I got in response was an "I'm sorry and understand your situation" and then he proceeded to say no make up class as I already paid and pre booked. Words don't mean anything if it is not backed up by actions.

These lessons are certainly not cheap. In fact having done one on one training in other sports, I find this is above the average cost for one on one training (through personal experience).

To refuse to provide a make up class was a low blow. It is not like I did not want to attend. I injured myself and was unable to make it. While I understand we have to give 24 hours notice, how was I able to give 24 hours notice for an injury?

This was the first time I got injured and needed to postpone. Not only did they refuse to hold a make up class I did not even get a refund. So essentially, I paid $90.00 for nothing.

I enjoyed my lessons so much that I would have attended MCC throughout the entire off season. I did some calculations and it comes to around $3000.00. Now for a business like this it may not be a lot of money but I am sure they would rather have that money with them than not have it at all. After the lack of empathy and care shown I will not be attending MCC anymore nor will I be recommending it to my friends and team mates who also play cricket.

I was reeled into the training after attending a masterclass that MCC held with the legends Lasith Malinga and Nuwan Kulasekera. I feel that if this is how a business operates then it is a negative reflection on legends such as these who support this company by collaborating with it.

A key element to one on one training (for me personally) is building a connection between student and mentor. I felt I had that connection building, but it was soon destroyed when the trainer showed lack of empathy through his actions and treated me more as a number than a person in this case.

I had just one hour session with Prabath and even before I explained my issues, he figured it out all after watched just one ball. He explained me the reasons for my knee pain, groin pain and all other issues. He fixed almost everything within one hour (yes you are reading correctly) and I felt, my bawling was reborn.
Prabath is a really nice, down to earth champion coach and I can't enough to recommend him.
- After his 2 session I managed to get 8 wickets in 2 matches (16 overs) including 5 fer.

Whenever I need an advice, I won't look around, straight away to Prabhath.

I have been taking my son to MCC/Prabath for training and he has been a tremendous help for my son's development as a solid Batsman and a wicket-keeper. They have great facilities and latest techniques to help kids to develop to the next level. Ian

The coaching here is great and is very in depth. It has helped my son become a more technical cricketer. The coaches understanding of the child is outstanding and he is always upfront with the parents.

Coaching provided is really valuable and focus is more on getting basics, technique right. Corrections advised to the players are backed up by explaining them their flaws which helps the players understand the technique better.
Good Job Prabath and team!

My Son and I are undertaking their coaching. He is trying to undo years of bad technique. So far, I can see a major improvement in my and my son's game. I will continue to use them.
