I sent two emails. I then called 4 times over the space of 3 weeks. I was told I would get contacted each time but never did until this day. I feel like this company doesn't prioritise inspections after you've bought a house. After wasting weeks waiting for a call from here, I contacted another company and got a quote immediately and the job done including an engineering report within days.

After a building inspector recommend a structural engineer to get a more accurate assessment on the possible cost of under pinning. Adam did a structural inspection before we made an offer on the house. He found more issues and possible causes and importantly gave a more accurate idea of repair costs and repair time, which were more than originally suspected. Now we know what to expect we can accurately negotiate a price knowing what will have to be done in the future.

He answered all of our many questions. Would definitely recommend him.

Adam was very nice and helpful on the phone. Over the last ten days, I tried to book the consultation and never got a call back any more - only reaching the office, promises of call-backs from other staff and unanswered emails. I would have been fine with a longer waiting time, but not getting any replies is quite a waste of time. Will try to go elsewhere.

I contacted Adam to do a crack inspection at my property. For the last 6 months I have had soooo many people giving me random opinions, quotes ranging from 13k to 50k to fix a small crack. From crack stitching, to underpinning to demolishing the entire wall. I heard it all.

Over time I was becoming increasingly worried by what everyone was telling me. I started to believe my house was structurally compromised and if I didn't spend that money to fix it will eventually fall down.

A colleague of mine advised me that before I spend ridiculous amount of money trying to fix this one crack I should seek expert advice and get a structural engineer to look at it.

Adam not only inspected the crack but looked all the around my property. Gave me such valuable advise and because of him not only I can sleep peacefully at night but I don't have to spend 52k fixing a simple crack that doesn't need doing anything.

There are soooo many trades out there who will simply do anything to get some extra money from you. My only advice to everyone is.please please spend that extra few hundreds and get expert to advice.

These guys are patient, extremely professional and will give you the right honest advice.

If I could give more stars I would. Extremely responsive and helpful. Adam from Melbourne Civil and Structural Engineers' pre-purchase advice on a 1960s brick veneer house was absolutely priceless. We had already had a regular building and pest inspection that, while thorough, left us with a lot of questions (are the cracks in the brick structural or cosmetic? Is the movement something to worry about? What repairs would we need to do if we bought the house?). Adam's advice was all answers. From now on I will only have a structural engineer pre-purchase inspection. I highly recommend MCS Engineers - the advice was very tailored and Adam went way above and beyond to be helpful. We now feel confident about negotiating a price on the house because we know that its structurally sound and we know what repairs are needed to keep that way. Fingers crossed we will be working with MCS Engineers on a renovation of this gem of a house soon.

I can't recommend these guys highly enough: they are expert engineers and builders, and great people too! Adam and his team came up with several very innovative solutions to our demanding site requirements, and helped me evolve the designs to adjust to our changing needs. Nasser is an experienced builder of the very highest quality and went above and beyond to help me understand the process, manage our extremely challenging site, and even liased with Council on our behalf. The end result was a quality build that met Council's strict requirements and passed the final inspection with ease. 5 stars, easily!

It has been great pleasure to work with Adam on my residential property. We had a number of cracks within our house. Thanks to Adam's great expertise, he made a clear plan of remediation at great cost. Would highly recommend his service.

Terrible customer service/response. Made 3 phone calls in a 2.5 week period with no call back. I was just trying to schedule an inspection. I understand many of us are busy, but if you can't even make a courtesy phone call in over 2 weeks, it's not a good impression at all. Offered no real help from admin staff and no apology offered for the non-response.

Adam came around and did an inspection of our house. He was very thorough, and addressed all our concerns. He gave us the reasons and solutions for the couple of issues that we need to deal with. Very informative and helpful. My mind has been put at rest as I know what I need to do, how it needs to be done and what trade to use. We are extremely grateful and happy with Adam. Adam did a structural inspection and cracks inspection on our recently purchased property and went through the house very thoroughly. Adam provided great practical advice and solutions on the structural integrity of a 110yo house we are moving into. We spent 2hrs going through all aspects of the house which included a chimney, fireplace, roof, frame and underside of the property. He also provided advice on aspects effecting the house around the perimeter which included certain trees.

Was told twice to expect a return call within 48 hours. Never called me back. Very disappointing.

We engaged MCSE for a visit to review our house which had some cracking, stuck windows etc. Adam was very thorough and explained what was causing the issues and gave us practical solutions. We now have peace of mind that there are no major issues and we can remedy a few things that could have resulted in bigger problems down the track.
