Recently purchased a TRoc from Thomas at Melbourne City Volkswagen.

Thomas made the entire process as easy as possible and when pick up came spent about an hour of his afternoon with me and the car running through its features, accessories and answering my questions.

Would happily purchase from here again.

I recently purchased a VW Golf GTI through Melbourne City Volkswagen. To make it more interesting I live in Sydney.

I was lucky enough that when my call was put through to the sales department, I was greeted by one of the most customer focused lovely salesperson I have ever dealt with, not only in the Fleet and Car industry which I work in but in the retail industry as a whole. The Salesperson I spoke with and cannot recommend highly enough is Lili. If Lili Lived in Sydney i would offer her a job without hesitation.

The process was made easy as Lili knew the product beyond my expectations and could tell me all about the specific car and the additional packages it had added to it already and explained in detail what these packages were. Lili also took the time to send me additional photos and videos to what was on the initial advertisement as I am in Sydney.

As mentioned, I work in the fleet industry I purchase approximately 80-100 cars per year. The service I received from Lili and also a few other members (Miles - from the finance area for his fast completion of documentation I needed) of Melbourne City Volkswagen, I would not hesitate to purchase from them again regardless of where I live.

I purchased a Tiguan Allspace last year and experienced the best car customer service with the dealer. The Sales Executive, Adrian, was very easy to deal with, kept me updated, upfront with expectations and found ways to deliver what I had asked for. This was similar with the rest of their staff (Deniz, Sarah). The moment I booked the test drive and stepped in the dealer's location, I felt I was an important customer. They had handed over my vehicle ahead of expected arrival with all the accessories I had requested. I truly appreciated this. Fast forward to the current time, I had my first year of service around a month ago and experienced excellent customer service from Allan. I am very happy with my experience end-to-end from pre-sales to sales and to on-going service maintenance.

Pathetic. They like to prey on unsuspecting young female customers. Charged my partner close to $800 for a service which only included oil, filters, and some brake fluid. Did I mention its only a VW Polo 3 Cylinder not a Ferrari.

We told the service advisor prior to service to ignore the filters that had already been changed by myself. When we picked up the car the filters which we asked to be ignored had been swapped out and we had been charged ($75 for a pollen filter and. 4 of an hour for labour - this works out to be nearly $200 to change a cabin filter).

Back to the independent we go!

Worst experience in attempting to purchase a car. Sales assistant (Tom) continued to hide/ not inform me of the trade in value of my car (even when I asked), while attempting to coerce me into making a rash purchase decision on a Volkswagen vehicle.

The process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. I enquired online at night and my enquiry was followed up immediately the next day. Each point of contact such as Miles in finance and Jake in Sales were fantastic in providing all the relevant information I needed to purchase my car. I was given options and was never pressured. I work full time, so Miles and Jake allowed me to pick up my car before opening hours by coming in early. At pick up, I was in a rush but Jake efficiently ensured that I had knowledge of all the features and how everything works. The manager also came out to give me a complementary VW umbrella and bag. I love a dedicated team! Thank you so much!

Miles and Adrian were so professional and helpful. They helped us getting T-Roc with the best deal possible compared to other dealers.

One big thing, they never made us feel like need to buy the car, they were very relaxed.

I do advice everyone to buy their car from there.

I was asked about my experience and I responded. Yet to hear a response back from marketing. Standard for this place.
Took my car there and it was damaged. Inside and out.
Trent Cummings is the rudest, most condescending service manager I’ve ever come across. He does not take accountability for his workshop or team and has no interest in protecting the customer or their vehicle. Accused me of wanted a “free repair” after they damaged both my front wheels doing an 10km road test on a coolant leak. They also damaged the gear selector which was reluctantly fixed but at no point were they accountable for.
The workshop lacks process. Their leader is a joke.
Hailey from service lacks professionalism and basic skills that advisers require. Like basic communication and being able to provide explanations. My car was there for 4 days and I had to beg for an update. Even just to know if the car was required longer so we could make arrangements.
The entire place clearly needs a shake up but with someone like Trent leading the team there is no hope.
Do yourself a huge favour. Don’t take your car there.

I live in Essendon, and there is a local Volkswagen in my suburb. But my whole family specifically travel to Port Melbourne because of the exceptional service we get here! Adrian Grech (sales) helped me buy my car and his service was incredible. It was my first time buying a new car, and he made the process so easy. He helped me chose a model that was suitable to my needs. I ended up buying the car a few months after I came into the show room, and I appreciated that I was given time to think about the purchase, and did not feel pressured in any way in the mean time. Once I bought the car, Adrian also made the paperwork very simple and easy to understand. I was given regular updates for the car and he kept in contact with me. On the pick up of the car, he took the time to show me all the functions of the car and walk me through all the settings. This was an amazing experience for me, and I am grateful that we found Adrian. I look forward to coming back to Melbourne City VW to drop my car off for services. Thank you so so much Adrian! P. S The car is absolutely stunning, and Its the best purchase I’ve ever made! So excited about it. It is exceptional.

Took my car in for a service as I had a major software issue. I was attended to by Hayley and she looked after everything. Hayley is a professional, organised young lady but that wasn’t just it, Hayley’s customer service was outstanding. Not just a great asset to Volkswagen, an even greater asset to the customer. Gave 5 stars in December 2020 as I loved buying experience but since then their customer service has really gone downhill fast especially in service section (maybe because I prepaid all my services with care plan.). Now changed to 1 star. Sold my car and moved on
