I consulted 3 specialists in this clinic and I had one positive, one negative and one neutral experience. The first was Dr Gin who was ok but he left the practice. Then I was transferred to Dr Claire who was impatient to see me leave when I was explaining my second skin condition. Apparently she thinks that one consultation was for only one disease! Then I moved to Dr Annelisa. She was the best. Even though her income would be affected she recommended I buy a portable UV machine and need not return to the clinic for UV treatment. I commend her intergrity. The ladies in the reception were the best I had seen in any Medical Centre. Helpful, bubbly, friendly etc. Fantastic ladies at the reception

I have been seeing Dr Clare Schofield for several years. She has always been very friendly, professional and attentive. She is always happy to answer other skin queries I may have while I am having treatment.

After putting it off for some time I booked in to Melbourne City Dermatology, and very happy I did so. I saw Dr Rowena Meani who was very kind and helpful, she took her time with me and provided me the correct treatment I needed. I would definetely recommend going here and booking in with Dr Meani based on my experience. Thanks again!

I took my young niece to see Dr Clare re her acne. Clare was kind & explained everything with great care. Clare understands the impact this has on a child’s self esteem & her approach is so very thoughtful. The skin is clear & we highly recommend this very lovely Dr. If you call her lovely team & explain your situation they will find a place & fit the little ones in. Thank you for your patience & the amazing result.

I have been a regular at this clinic for several years with a long term condition that can' be cured, but can be managed. I see Dr Analeisa Wright as my specialist. I can't speak highly enough of her or the girls at reception. I have recommended this clinic several times and am glad to have found it. They are the best.

Arrived at my appointment and was told my appointment has been cancelled. I waited 4 months for this appointment. They told me they tried to call me, but I never received anything. Absolute joke.

Bad service. Did not send results and do call back as promise. Doctor ask to do biopsia but it was not really nessesary. So money for nothing.

I have been going here for years for skin checks and multiple procedures. The approach here is personal, professional, and caring. I had a misdiagnosis at a GP run skin clinic prior to coming to Melbourne City Dermatology, which was identified instantly by one of their dermatologists, Dr Schofield. I'm grateful to have found this clinic.

Only want to sell you products.chemical peels weren’t left on for the time they said.saw no difference in the peels I had done. In total I had 4 chemical peels done, they use the lightest chemicals even when they said they would use stronger for troubled pigmentation areas. Don’t waste your time and money at this clinic. Find somewhere that actually works.

After a long wait your call will be cut off without any indication. Keep in mind reception, people are calling because they need medical support. If you cannot cope up please shut down and do other business.

Over charged me for my treatment and one of the front staff blackmailed me to change the review in order to issue me refund.

I went and saw Dr Alexander Gin because I have a condition on my face that didn't know at that moment, he even didn't check my face and told me that is Acne and recommend Acnatac, this gel was very strong for my face, and after two months he said ok your problem is still happening then get the following antibiotic, but on the second appointment even didn't check my face, anyway, He recommended Doxycycline, but again didn't solve my issue, on my third appointment ask me for my contraception method, and then he apologized and said that he should ask first this question and that he will charge me a little bit less (180) the other appointments were like two hundred something.

I was so disappointed because I changed my contraception, I did everything that he told me and I was having still issues on my skin, then I went to my general doctor, and he checked my face, finally somebody checking my face, and he was so good, that he told me on the first visit, is eczema and you should treat with this, after two days of using that cream my face was clear.

Then I don't recommend at all Dr Gin because he was in a rush and he didnt took the time to check my face properly, and also he was just trying to guess my issue, it was a waste of money.

I visited Melbourne City Dermatology on 18/08/21 and saw Sarah Gambino. She was very efficient and pleasant. Sarah answered all my questions and was helpful later in returning my call to answer a few more questions about my medication. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even provided me with a new face mask when mine broke.

Have been coming here for a while now. Dr Sarah Gamboni has been really knowledgeable and has significantly helped me manage my eczema. I have been very impressed by her professionalism and empathy.

Also the rest of the team (including front office) are tops, and I get friendly service every time I pop in.

I went and saw Dr Annaliesa Wright about three weeks ago. She was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Dr Wright talked me through the treatments and went above and beyond to understand and address my needs. I 100% recommend the procedure for treating underarm sweat. GAME CHANGER! I wish I’d known about it earlier. Massive thanks to Dr Wright and MCD for taking care of me.

My initial experience with Dr Rowena was good. She seemed helpful and willing to help with my eczema. She organised patch testing and I thought I was finally going to get some answers. It all went downhill after that when Dr Schofield took over. She was not helpful at all, I felt rushed and she genuinely did not want to listen to any of my concerns. She sent me on my way with creams and I was told this will do. I told her I wanted her to organise food testing as I felt there was something I was eating triggering my eczema. She said this was not necessary. She was very very wrong. There are multiple foods that I am eating triggering my eczema which a naturopath figured out. Do not visit this clinic and most definitely do not see Dr Schofield. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

It doesn't worth! Please think twice of you want to go to there. A counselling of ~15 minutes coasts you $260. And you can get nothing useful from the dermatologist.

Didn't have the best impression of the clinic initially, but after leaving an initial review, Dr Wright kindly called me back and talked me through my issues over the phone, which I really appreciated. She was helpful and answered all my queries really nicely.
