My absolute go-to takeaway. The chips are ALWAYS crisp and the chicken is always super juicy and delicious.also when you order delivery they have these fancy foil lined boxes they send your food in that keeps the chips nice and crispy and the food super juicy even after they've been sitting in the delivery guys bag - which is a really nice touch that alot of other restaurants dont do, and i appreciate it alot.

Great quality price and great customer service. Chicken was really excellent and I loved the chips.

Delicious crispy skin chicken from Melbourne Charcoal Chicken. Half chicken + chips + salad for $18, it’s not a bad deal.
The chips were seasoned well and crunchy. And their best salad available was Greek salad.
I wish I took a better picture before almost finishing the food.

I have had charcoal chicken here on many occasions, and i can say that the food is great, but it is very inconsistent.some days you can get the best chicken and chips and the next have the worst, they also seem to always be out of the very good hsp's! Another takeway of this place is the service, they are very rude and always seem to be angry at you.

You know how you go to a charcoal chicken and usually you end up dissapointed because the chicken is dry, the chips are average and the salad is drenched in Mayo.

Staff here have always been incredibly friendly and there food is fantastic value for the money. I would highly recommend there schnitzel chips and gravy pack.

The souvlaki is delicious: juicy meat in a soft & chewy bread that tastes homemade, plus lots of super-fresh salad and yummy yoghurt sauce. Friendly owner & staff and good prices. Highly recommended!

Always friendly, always good food. Personally I would prefer less pepper in the scolloped potatoes, but even so, I still enjoy them.

My partner and I swear by MCC! The food is always fantastic, their service is great. We check every day to see if it is back open. I 100% recommend coming here as it is the BEST charcoal chicken we have ever had.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! We have been looking for the best charcoal chicken North of.well. Antarctica and we finally found it! One of our chef mates recommended these guys and they didn't disappoint! We ordered a massive feast last year for our family Xmas lunch (a couple of days after xmas) and since then go back at least every few months. Their chicken pasta salad is amazing - you can tell nonna is chopping that capsicum by hand - and the gravy is to die for.if youre not local but on the beach and starving, ring in a chook, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks to Michael and his staff. It was the best charcoal chicken ever. Very tasty, great quality chips and the beetroot salad was perfect. Someone told me MCC was the best chicken in Melb and I had to try, now I am convinced.

We have ordered from them a couple of times, their Schnitzel Fries + Gravy pack is good value, tasty and always arrives fresh. Their 1/2 Chicken with salads is amazing too (Chicken Pasta salad is to die for!).
They accidently gave us a double serving, and being a local restaurant we wanted to pay but they made it clear it was their mistake and they wont take payment for it.
Good quality food, good pricing and good ethics. Support local and buy some chicken from these guys, you wont regret it!
