Melbourne Central reviews
53Amazing area with loads to see and do. Great choice of food and beverages. Check out the lego store.
Melbourne Central is far more than a shopping centre. Located near RMIT abd the northern end of the CBD this space serves as a meeting place and transport hub, with the train running through the loop below. The clock tower is an obvious feature, and the singing clock is mostly kistch, but the tourists seem to love it. A good range of stores that are not as bourgeois as found in Emporium or along Collins St.
Between Melbourne Central and The Emporium is a Skybridge which has been beautifully adorned with leafy surroundings and chairs. What a great way to take a breath when you need a moment.
Lots of Korean, Chinese, KFC, Subways on every corner, Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations, Docklands, trams are fun,
Great shopping centre, smelt really nice which is an odd comment. But it was just nice and clean. Good selection of shops
Iconic place for shopping and outing, right above the Melbourne central station. Wide range of stores, food court is at the lower ground level and has some really good options for a quick bite. Coles is there on the lower ground level as well. Good place to visit! Cheers!
Busiest shopping center and station in melbourne as this mall is integrated with the station.
A lot of variety in stores and an excellent selection of eateries. It's quite big and can be a little easy to become disorientated if you zone out. Directories abound though so it is not a huge problem.
Lots of stores. Pretty much everything you could want. And if you can't find it there, it won't be too far away seeing as you're in the middle of Melbourne!
We often visit this mall in the very heart of Melbourne's CBD either to take a train around Melbourne, general shopping or a bite and coffee. It's full of cafes, restaurants and fashion outlets, as well as a theatre and a gym. It's a tourist mecca. It's a busy place and always buzzing!
Love this place lots of places to shop a food court with a diverse range of food from Asian to Mexican it also has a McDonald's and others for people that a picky. You also have a pub and a arcade, plus Hoyts movie theatre and bowling on the top floor
Easy to access, great transport, easy to navigate and some amazing stores and places to eat. Would recommend if nearby.
Not too crowded at the time I visited. The front desk/service agent was nice to give direction.
Melbourne Central will always be Melbourne Central. Has everything and is bustling with energy and people. Great vibes, great cute shops.
This palace is basically full of everything you could want to find. The layout is. Unusual, so a few times I've walked up and down looking for something the directory was vague about. However it is clean and well maintained and there is variety in everything. The massive clock is also good if you haven't seen it at the tolling of the hour.
A town in itself with shopping, pubs, cafes, bowling, activity for kids and Hoyts theaters, easily accessible by Trans and a Metro Station within Melbourne central.never a dull moment.
Go there a lot. Very good food court on the 1st floor. Lots of eating venues and variety. The Pancake Parlour and Hoys cinema on the top floor. Very good coffee place just past the food court going towards Swanston Street. Exceptionally good coffee.
The cocktails I had were refreshing but some dishes are extremely overpriced for their serving size: (
Quite scary return to being absolutely jam packed. Good to see people out and shopping but talk about the sublime the ridiculous!
