We went to see a Swing Big Band here last Sunday.
Great music for a dance.
Really Friendly staff and Members, Whitey was very welcoming and he went out of his way to help us.

The worst experience of celebrating my birthday I’ve had here. Especially with the cook/ chef, who was rude, very ungrateful. The food was shoved into our faces and he kept making faces, being rude in front of our guests. He knew we had only 20 people coming and when we placed order we never got informed that it will be tooooo much. The venue provides no take away services so atleast 5kg of food just gone to waste. After all that it started raining and we had to move inside, we hardly played any games outside and there was no one to assist that cause we’re paying the full amount that we can use the inside area and play some other games there. A lot of money wasted on the food and the venue. Wouldn’t recommend.

The staff are wonderful especially Taluah, great asset to the bowling club, hardest working bar person ive seen.

Run down bowling club with a reputation it doesn't seem to deserve. Friendly people and decent drink selection at the bar but the overall atmosphere is one of a seedy pub with patrons who would rather not have to pretend they're interested at all in bowling. Have only been here the once, so if I'm ever forced back here I'll reconsider the directness of my review after another try.

Had a great day there today. Met friends, cheap drinks, friendly people and staff. What more could you ask for!

2 stars. We had our Christmas party here in 2017 and it was fantastic, the staff all voted for bowls again this year. What a disappointment. Just trying to get confirmation was next to impossible then on the day we couldn't find anyone in charge, it was just a unorganized mess. None of the staff knew anything! Safe to say it won't get our vote again. Disappointed.don't go.

I celebrated my birthday here with 30 friends playing barefoot bowls on a sunny Saturday afternoon. It was perfect! All the guests had a bowl, young and old, talented or not. The greens were pristine, smooth as silk. Drinks were generous and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful at every turn. My friends were uniform in their praise of the club. Kick off your shoes and give Melbourne Bowling Club a go. You won't regret it!

One of Australia’s oldest & social friendly clubs. Spend an afternoon playing bowls and enjoying a few drinks with friends. Great people and facilities. Enjoy.

First time i went here felt rushed and were just trying to get numbers in but saying that had the best time here the other week.great accomodating staff and had a great day

Went there for a christmas party. Very average food for finger food. Party pies and spring rolls. Could do it myself for fraction of the cost. Other than that, not a bad venue for lawm bowls

Went there once and all I can say is there is a lot of nice people and well dressed people there!

This particular club lays claim to being the oldest bowl's club in the land. Apart from that it's a club with a big history and plenty of flags and has a healthy bowling membership plus a more relaxed social membership. Their club is in union rd Windsor which allows a people to go anywhere they like afterwards. Why would you want to go anywhere else for a drink stupid but that's me. It's a very relaxed club with some great members and very friendly staff and plenty of greens to accommodate a lot of people. Over the years I have found out that if you are lucky enough to be a bowling member the next best thing is to be a social member which gives you a lot of perks that with everything else and the most important that this is your club you don't want to go anywhere else. So if you live in the area and you are looking to meet people than head of to your local bowls club

I've had two great afternoons here for work functions. Had fun both times. I look forward to going again.

Had a function here, no clue what the sport was before. We've had it explained and had a great time. Sun shade would have helped though.

Melbourn Bowling club has such as great atmosphere with excellent bowling facilities. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have some fun bowling. Kate was a pleasure to deal with and I love this place!

The bowling greens are excellent. We had a 2-3 games of bowling. Staff is polite and helpful. Snooker and pole tables on the indoors offer great place to hang.out.almost all selection of alcohol were available. But food is not great here. Vegetarian does not have any decent choices.

Not fabricated history, but proper historical surroundings. Great place to hang out of a sunset with some beers and some mates.
