Interesting array of food, v well priced beers, including some fun stuff. Plus gave my toddler free jelly beans!

Very nicely set up grocer and cafe with a lovely range of delicious food. Artisan ice cream, alcohol, cakes, and more available.

Good service.

Had a cappuccino and a pistachio cake. Coffee wasn't as strong as I'd have liked, but the milk was expertly frothed. Cake was delicious.

Great local spot! Sells Riverina fresh milk (the best) and a surprisingly good selection of wines.

What's not to like about Melba's.lovely produce and a great selection of beers and wines.

Last Tuesday I went here and was pleasantly greeted by a very friendly and welcoming blonde teen. Service was great, definitely coming back here again. Produce was in good condition, good vibes.

Only one of the staff were wearing a mask (and I was the only customer wearing one) so clearly don't care about higher risk folks. Avoid if you are also higher risk.

Some of the highlights are their pasta, cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables (carrots especially) and wine!

Avoid if immunocompromised… staff often not wearing masks correctly, not covering nose. Owner walks around store with mask completely off under his chin. Today I watched a staff member set away all the baked goods with mask under chin. After 2 years you would think business’ would be across the very simple action of wearing a mask properly

If you're able to support your local family grocer, please do! I've always felt welcomed walking into here and they offer such a variety of products for self declared foodies!

Very rude barista and the coffee was terrible. I do not recommend this place at all. Vince the owner did nothing about.her behaviour. Very sad actually.

Good food hall. The Cafe space is a bit ordinary. Coffee is good. Customers were lingering after their meals which was not good for Covid precaution.

Beautiful and flavourful food we had today. Loved the falafel wrap with the soup of the day. Highly recommend

I have been shopping @ Melba's for several yrs now. Go in there about once a month. Today was exceptionally rude. Not sure what happened.

Got served by a Waitress. Told her I wanted a large flat white & bagel. Fine till now. She moves away starts making the coffee. Meanwhile I have a $50 ready to pay. I saw she wasn't approaching me so moved away slightly until order was done with the intention of paying at the end. This tall guy who looked more like a PSO than anything else, suddenly approaches me & says 'this order has not been put through'. Rudeness. Ok. Well, if the waitress did her job, got payment straight away, the order would have been put through. I stood there long enough holding my purse for her to do that. The guy just stared at me. $9.50 I said? Yes he said. Throws the bagel in a bag and flings it toward me. Places coffee there. Is this tge large size? Yes (he says).

This person was particularly short with me. I'm a customer there. Never seen this one before but he sure didn't like me. How do I know? None of this would have been a problem except for the fact that he was nice & friendly to subsequent customers. I watched for 3 - 5 mins. Charming to all. He didn't know me from a bar of soap and I'm not difficult on the eye either. Odd. Didn't appreciate the rudeness & single answers. What was the dirty look just before I walked out - as well? Won't be back. Shame cos the products and are of excellent quality.

I love this little grocer on my side of town. Good coffee, good wine, decent selection of products and the staff is always very friendly. The deli has some excellent quality stuff. The produce boxes are convenient and good value. Such a good addition to the neighbourhood, I'm glad it's here!

Just arranged a last minute home delivery (6.50pm) of meals for my son who is a Doctor at Royal Melbourne Hospital in Infectious Diseases. Due to hours worked at present he has no way of getting to shops. Vince was amazing and I cant thank him enough. I promise to call earlier in future.

Pleasant spot with good coffee. Reuben sandwich was underwealming and could have been better.

The main issue was the meat, it was not moist and there wasn't much of it.

Great place for a coffee and love the recently changed menu. The green eggs and ham were delicious

Literally the best coffee I've ever had, I live no where near here now but will always swing past for a coffee if I'm ever in the area!
