Melba Park reviews
25Great playground for kids, ample parking including disabled parking. Picnic tables and good BBQs and plenty of trees that provide shade
Great space, well tended and manicured, clean and beautiful. Great for dog walking especially early mornings
It can have its share of weirdos and local bums asking for a light, but when in doubt go in a group. Scenery (and ducks) can be quite peaceful, weather permitting.
Lovely walk through the Gardens at Melba Park Playground. Particularly expressed us with the Big Rocks that they have used. My Dad was a Landscaper.
A Beautiful municipal Park. The stand out feature are the enormous oaks. Great Playground for littlies and bbq facilities.
Normally very good but Easter Saturday they were much busier than usual and didn't have sufficient staff. The coffee took 40 minutes to arrive and the scones turned up 10 minutes later.
But, to be fair, they are usually quite good.
Nice park in the heart of Lilydale. Playground and water play for kids. Plenty of picnic tables or grass for the picnic rug.
Just had our Christmas get together there under a magnificent elm tree. Beautifully maintained clean, nearby cafe for tea and coffee. Amenities in park clean. Plenty street parking.
Wonderful spot for a family gathering.
Lovely park and facilities with kids play equipment.
A beautiful park with lots of space and large open areas for activities. Conveniently located minutes from the station, local football field and many food places, it's a great place to relax, eat, and play some games.
The one small drawback is the old nearby public pool that shut down looks a bit drab.
Beware of the Ibises.
Also, a perfect spot for playing Pokémon GO, with many stops and gyms.
This park had a huge grass area for the kids to run around, and has a fantastic playground catering to children of all ages.
I like this park. It is beautiful surrounded with trees and animal. You can bring your kids to play here. There are many birds and beautiful garden
Piecefull and quiet place to study, Lunch or relax. Also have Boxing and kickboxing here Monday to Thursday.
Beautiful park. BBQ & kids area. Sports ground and separate showgrounds that holds local events - quirky. Ducks & cockatoos roam the area.
It is a nice little park with a playground, water and free bbqs. Lots of big Oak trees for shade and open grassy areas if you like the sun. A quiet area out the back of the shops away from the hustle and bustle. Cafe and free museum close by.
Lovely little park steeped in a rich history named after Dame Nellie Melba, the first ever Female Australian opera singer celebrity. The park has a great little playground for younger age children and they love it. Could be a little better with play equipment.
This is a great park and playground. Good play equipment. There's a water space with a path of stepping stones through it. Not sure if it fills tip in Spring/Autumn - would be awesome if it does. Lots of seating and shade. Good walking track.
Kids love this park lots to do and play on, always clean well looked after park, great place for a BBQ with benches and public BBQ provided. Head here for a family BBQ lunch let the kids play while mum and dad enjoy a wine cooking snags. Excellent.
A beautiful space with an awesome play park for the kids, very interactive and great for fine motor development
