Mekong Nails

Got a pedicure last week on Thursday and they cut my heel during the process. They initially didn't acknowledge it until I mentioned it hurt alot when I put it back in water. They put bandaids on it at the end. By the time I got home my whole shoe and heel had pooled with blood. I have been spending every day for the last 5 days treating it so it doesn't get infected. It bled for two days and it still hurts today. The wound has not healed. It impacted me wearing heels to a wedding the following day.
I was a regular customer of Mekong pre COVID however unfortunately this experience will be my last. Paid $75 for the Mani/pedi and $15 at the chemist that same day for treatment of this wound. Not happy. I'm sure everyone has different experiences many which are good.

Terrible experience, asked for shellac with tips- first they got the wrong colour, secondly they took 1.5hours and after 3 days began to chip.

Hi - I would please like to organise a refund for this sns manicure I got just over a week ago. The first picture shows how warn out they got in the first week. The second picture shows how my nail got completely broken. Now due to lockdown I am unable to go anywhere to get it fixed. What is the best number to call to organise my refund during lockdown?

The wait can be long and the treatments feel rushed. Not a very relaxing experience. Whenever I have gotten SNS/acrylics/shellac it never seems to last. One time a nail broke the same day of treatment and I was still charged $10 for repair.

Sadly, not the place it used to be. Went in two weeks ago for a pedicure, had a trainee, didn't know what she was doing, cut my skin, I had to show her what to do, looked shocking at the end and still had to pay full price. Won't be going back again.

I always come back here! I have since moved to Cheltenham and I will still come all the way back to Richmond to have my nails done here. They do a great job and the owner is so friendly and always remembers me.

I'd recommend to do a wide birth from this place.
Came in here to get a Manicure and Pedicure, they went to give me a pedicure and hadn't cleaned the foot bath out from the person they had finished prior to myself.
There are a lot more hygienic places around Richmond to go to.

Very slow treatment. Over one hour for toes shellac. Very rough and have 3 cuts on my feet and toes. Had to put band aids on after the treatment. So far no infection, but probably more good luck than anything. Dont bother. May have changed hands recently as had been before with no complaints.

Not happy! My friend and i came in for our appointment for sns, however when we got there we had to wait a long time until served.once she started on me she didn’t serve my friend for another 45 minutes! Apart from taking their time and taking in to many customers knowing they weren’t going to be able serve them anytime soon, they were still rough and it hurt me! Definitely won’t be returning or recommending, the job should’ve taken half the time not 2 hours.

I always go here for my nails. The ladies are so friendly, and they do a beautiful job. My nails are bad, and they always look so seamless and shining afterwards. Thanks.

Great place to get your nails done if you like sns that lasts no more than 24 hours before cracking - worst customer service ive experienced

I switched to this place after using another local Richmond nail place for SNS. They've been really lovely, and the odd one that I've broken they've fixed for free on occasion as well as charging less than the previous place. Nancy in particular does a great job, very neat every time.

Waste of money. I get my nails done weekly basis, and popped in. Worst job ever. If you need a quick colour change then yes, but hold off on the mani. ️

They're rude, will cut you and cause you to bleed and very overpriced for their very poor quality of work! Will not be returning!

I was charge $49 at the counter when I was told the simple french pedicure would cost $24. I happily waited 30 minutes before I was served, so I thought I would go for a nice stroll to get money out of the ATM. I told the lady that I was advised $24 and all she said was "sorry, I must've been told the wrong info".
I've always doubted these nail salons run by Asians (and I'm asian myself), but I wanted to put all feelings aside and give it a try.i've been reading positive affirmations all day, but it has been crushed by this experience. I dont like making a fuss and very unlike me to publicly post my feelings, but I'm done with bottling up how I feel inside. I paid the $49 and quietly walked out of the shop, not looking back.
I was not happy, but I'm not going to let that ruin my birthday today.
Mekong Nail Salon Richmond: Please put all your prices on a visible board for all customers to see, or make sure your staff know the prices confidently before stating a false price.

Usually I go somewhere else for my waxing but yesterday I decided to give them a try for Brazilian and it was the worst decision. Very bad service. I was bruised after my waxing. Never going back there! Extremely disappointed!
