Mehek Indian Restaurant reviews
56Went in the store, really different to what it looks like outside. Greeted by very helpful and friendly staff. Got the food home and it was amazing.:) I will be going back there, as this experience was amazing. Thank you guys (p.s my neighbour loved everything as well as your hospitality.)
Authentic and exquisite flavours, perfect balance, hands down the best Indian cuisine I’ve experienced in Melbourne for a decade every time! Lovely warm service too, loads of gluten free options. A gem indeed!
Thank you. We ordered on line and the food arrived hot and ready to eat. Most enjoyable food with plenty of flavour. Will eat in when the restrictions are lifted. Can recommend the Mehek Indian Restaurant to my friends and family.
Absolutely the best indian restaurant in Greensborough hands down, also one of the best I've ever had, 10/10
We were very disappointed with our meal as well as the service from Mehak. Ordered for a 6.20pm delivery which was then changed to 6.40pm after ordering and was delivered some time after 7pm. The onion bhaji's were cold. One of the curry's was swimming in water (see photo), the other two curry's did not taste nice and were thrown away. The naan bread was rock solid and the rice was soggy. We called up the restaurant to provide them an opportunity to rectify this matter and they said they would send a text message with an offer of compensation. We received no text message so we complained to Menulog who we booked the meal through and they said the restaurant wanted to offer us $20 off a further meal with them. We explained we would never eat there again and wanted a full refund which Menulog then provided.
I generally do not like leaving negative reviews however given the price I paid for the food I feel it is prudent to do so. There were 6 small pieces of chicken in the butter chicken and 6 cubes of lamb in the korma, both of these curries were close to $20 each, I think that there should be more meat in these meals, either that or they should be cheaper. In total, I paid $80 for 3 curries, 2 steamed rice and 3 garlic naan. I will happily pay money for food that gives value for that money but unfortunately this was not the case.
Ordered a butter chicken through here and was left very disappointed with the flavour of the butter chicken and the sauce was quite watery and not creamy. I will not be coming back here.
Never again wouldn't like to know where they get there chicken from 4 of us couldn't eat it all main meals went straight in bin
Delicious flavours, meat/curry containers not good value for money. The night we ordered they were only doing roti bread and it was pretty bad. That said- the flavours of the curries were excellent. We had butter chicken, Malai Kofta, chicken tikka and beef vindaloo.
Ok always nice, but keep it up guys! Don't drop your quality of food I will give another chance Next time I'm in town
Had a great experience. Wonderfull service with fresh food and quick service.
Butter chicken and garlic naans are mouthwateringly depicious. Must try.
Will come back for sure.
I preordered food here, still the food served late. I ordered onion salad, they charged me even though they served the salad after finishing my dinner. Meat was not so fresh.
We hadn't been to Mehek for a while. Pleasantly surprised when we went for a family Mother's Day dinner. The food was exceptionally good, and consistent. In other words, not one good dish and the next no so good - which tends to happen with thus cuisine.
Happy and helpful staff with quick and efficient service.
Well done Mehek, we are sure to be back.
I got takeaway, the food was really good. We got the butter chicken, lamb korma and tandoori chicken. I got mild on all but next time I think we will go for medium. Overall a good feed though and will definitely return
We recently moved to here from New Zealand.
Visited this lovely restaurant for the first time. One of the greatest experience. Fresh food, amazing taste and good value.
They have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Dal tadka is recommended.lovely service. This will be our favorite from now on.
We were there today. Fantastic ambience. We ordered the deal with lamb Rogan Josh and buttter chicken, with rice and naans. I must say the food was amazing. We have tried many other Indian restaurants but this one was beyond satisfactory. My 3 kids absolutely enjoyed their dinner. Keep up the good work with quality. Customers service is excellent too. Will be back definitely.
Visited this small restaurant over the week end.
I'm a vegan, but my partner isn't. We both enjoyed our meals.
I must say that this is the one of the best in Melbourne. Great fresh food. Good collection of vegan items in their menu.
Love their customer service.
Worth for money. Definitely going back. Highly recommended.
(specially for Vegans)
Best Indian food in the area. There is a complete vegan menu available and it’s amazing. Super friendly and attentive staff.
Great restaurant, traditional flavors. I've eaten at nearly every indian restaurant in the northern district & this one tops it for me. Great service too & quick dellivery late at night just b4 they were closing.thanks guys
We love this restaurant! Service is warm and friendly. Food is absolutely beautiful, we noticed it isn't full of oil and salt which is usually the case these days and the vegan menu is a winner! My son has chosen to go back here for his birthday dinner and we can't wait!
