HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I have spoke to many marketing agencies and always felt pushed into a sale. But then I spoke with Christopher, one of the team members from Megaphone Marketing. He was great. Very honest, transparent and helpful.

No trying to trick you to buy their services - genuinely helpful and good to deal with.

My experience with Megaphone Marketing has been the best I've ever had with a digital marketing agency. Rather than feeling like a client, I feel like my marketing strategist is an extension of my in-house team, which is important to me. Over the 6 or so months that we've been working together we've seen excellent results - thanks Megaphone!

I do not recommend this company. They lost $16,000 of mine. I tried to organize a face-face meeting but they avoided this at all costs and wouldn't agree to it. Over my 4 months I had multiple marketing strategists as mine kept quitting from Megaphone. They over promise and under deliver. Save your money, I have since heard from another business owner that used them they lost them $50,000 over 10 months. I have heard from a previous staff member who is appalled by how they run this company and take advantage of small businesses and chew up their money. They have low retention rate and high staff turnover. I am disappointed and sad having so much trust / faith. The only thing they are good at is marketing themselves.

I had a good experience with Megaphone marketing about three years ago when I was a home-based business and once I had moved into a retail space I came back to Megaphone marketing hoping that they would help me scale my very profitable business.

I am an extremely busy mum of four little kids as well as running my own business and every aspect that goes into that. The reason I decided to outsource my marketing was so that I could delegate to someone I trusted and let them handle every aspect of the marketing so I could focus more on other areas of the business. I only realised that something was very seriously wrong when there were invoices to be paid and no more money left in the business account.

When I started to investigate where the money had gone I was absolutely devastated to realise that for months Megaphone had been running my ads at a loss. When I calculated the cost of advertising, the cost of goods, the time that went into packaging, the shipping costs, the wages and utilities we had lost over $40,000. When I brought this to Megaphone‘s attention they were very apologetic and offered me free service for one month. I was not happy with the situation but I was promised that things would quickly turn around and I would start to make my money back.

Fast forward two weeks later and there were no sales coming into the business so I opened the marketing accounts once again. I was horrified to see that nearly all of our marketing budget was allocated to a product which had been out of stock for the last two weeks. The cost of acquisition was running at $100 per sale. I was absolutely gutted. They ran our small family business completely into the ground. I have since had to take out a business loan to get my once very profitable business back on track and it will take us about a year before we even get to the point we were at before we employed Megaphone marketing.

They used to be a very good marketing company but they have grown very quickly over the last couple of years and I get the impression that they are outsourcing all of the campaign management to a third party. The emotional and financial toll has been horrific. If I could be bothered to go through the process I would be suing for damages but I have decided to just focus on moving forward and I do not have the strength to go through any more dramas with this agency.

I was with Megaphone for 5 months and do not recommend them at all. They hire very savvy sales people, and then very inexperienced people to manage your account.

I had issues like my ads stopped running on a weekend, and no one did anything. I was told by my acc manager that I should monitor the ads on the weekend because she doesn't work on weekends. Ads were always posted in weird aspect ratios and didn't look native to the platforms they were appearing on. Constant staff changes, and going on leave and I would be advised at the last minute, with what seemed like little hand over to the person filling in. Their creatives are really amateur and late on the trends.

I reached out to one of the Agency's founders who is based in LA, but he wasn't very interested.

We have just ended 12 months of marketing with Megaphone, mainly due to them absolutely killing one of our accounts. We had been recommended to use Megaphone from one of our friends who also use them but the challenge is that they are such a big organisation, in our 12 months we had 4 account managers, so felt like we had to start all over again. They kept comparing their performance to the month before, but we run a business that is quite cyclical and so you really need to compare to the same month last year to see how you're going, and they couldn't get their head around that.
The other thing that was really frustrating was the constant need to market based on a sale. Especially early on in the piece, every meeting we'd have with them, they wanted to know what our new sale was going to be and it felt like the only way they knew how to run ads was to run a sale, and for us to make no profit. I asked at one point what their sale was for us for the month because they wanted us to constantly run sales. Every campaign had to have some special offer - they struggled to run ads based on the unique selling points of the product and let the product sell itself.
So if you have the kind of product that relies on sales and offers, they may do better for you than they did for us.
Our sales have ended up down 75% on last year - and it's just not sustainable. They seem to have good data and analytics, but it's just not worked and we had to move to someone else.
Disappointing, but I think a smaller agency where you aren't moved around from account manager to account manager is our preference going forward.

Signed with megaphone over 2+ years ago and have never looked back. Our account manager Pariss is amazing and is now an integral part of our own team too. Highly recommend.

In 3 months go zero customers for me. Got very few leads at all in fact, all of which not suitable. Not sure they understood the business we were in. Wasnt til near the end of the contract wanted to recommend a different plan, but was hard to trust them at that point and didnt want to commit more time or money to it.

Megaphone got us $80,000 within the first 2 weeks of working with them, and $125,000 within that month alone! They have proven their experience and expertise. Our project leaders have been awesome, shoutout to Sam and Tony for making this happen!

We cannot wait to see what else they have instore for us in the upcoming future!

These guys have been amazing! They've far exceeded my expectations and that's not just in terms of revenue, it's their commitment and willingness to do anything and everything they can for me and my buisness so we can both succeed together. In my 3 years of trading and trying many other marketing agencies and freelancers I've never experienced this type of customer service ever!
It's been tough this last year since the IOS changes, sales have been dwindling away month after month, I was about to give up! For the first time in all my years of buisness I truly believe I've finally found a marketing agency that really does care about me & the success of my business. And this alone is worth more to me than any amount of revenue. Thanks for giving me my hope back Megaphone? I'm so very grateful!

We've been with Megaphone for around 3 months now and we're off to a good start. We are happy with the responsiveness of the team, and any feedback we give is responded to well. We're unsure of the 'actual' impact of the advertising at this point due to implementing lots of new things in the same time period and the growth is not "WOW - freaking incredible! " but there is definite growth. Increasing ad spend this month so it'll be interesting to see.
