Amazing Thai food and very friendly service. We went as a family with our young son for dine in. Everything is freshly prepared, fast and the flavors and authentic. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back here, what a gem!

We had been there yesterday with our family. The food was amazing. I highly recommend it. The prawn in tamarind sauce. Crispy squid, Thai Tom yum fried rice and beef salad was excellent.

Tonight we had the Chicken Red Curry with rice - flavours were beautiful and I loved that it was super saucy, and the Crispy sweet&sour Chicken that was full of good surprises.
Looking forward to trying the Pad Thai.

Tried the massaman curry, tom
Yum prawns and fried chicken with thai basil and chilli with coconut rice. The taste of the food was really good. However, somethings need quite the improvement. Starting with coconut rice. It had no flavor of coconut. It was just steamed rice with sprinkles on top. When asked about it, the staff told that the sprinkles on top is coconut. Never have I ever had this kind of 'coconut rice' which had no flavor of coconut. Anyway they gave us complimentary chicken arancini for that. That tasted good too. The portion size was not Generous enough compared to other contemporary Thai places. Usually two curries are enough fr three ppl. But in this case it wasn't. Also we needed 4 serves of rice.

This Thai restaurant has just recently opened, and they have a large variety on their menu. The workers were very polite and welcoming! I ordered the prawn pad Thai, Tom yum soup and spring rolls. Which were absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back for more as a new regular.

Delicious! Tried the new Thai food restaurant on Thursday and it was great. We had the lamb shank in massaman curry, pineapple fried rice with crispy chicken and Crispy Chicken with Thai spicy salt and pepper (my favourite).
We dined in and it was lovely. Give it a good.
It will be my go to Thai.

One of my neighbours has shared that there's a new Thai restaurant recently opened in the area. My lovely wife didn't feel like making dinner on Saturday night, we decided to give it a try to order some takeaway.

Meetang Thai Kitchen has a modern-looking and easy-to-use website that allows customers to pre-order their dishes in advance and pick them up at the desired time. We placed our order at 4: 30, which is before the restaurant's open hours, and set to pick up at 6 pm.

We decided to order the "Meetang Arancini" for entree, "Thai Sweet Basil and Chilli Stir Fry with Tofu", and "Crispy Chicken with Honey Soy Sauce Stir Fried" for mains. We have also ordered a "Chicken Pad Thai" and "Roti with Satay Sauce" for carbs (kids love carbs.).

Meetang Arancini
I know what an Italian Arancini is but I didn't know what to expect from "Arancini" in a Thai restaurant. I can tell you I was totally hooked on it after the first bite.
In simple words, it is chicken meatballs with a surprise.
Usually, for meatballs, I would expect the inside would be totally meaty with an almost mushy texture.
"Meetang Arancini" were deep fried until golden brown on the outside. The texture of the "Meetang Arancini" is very interesting. It has this rustic texture (I think it is the herbs and spices) and the chicken mince is soft and tender. The meatballs are bite size and they go so well with the dipping sauce.
(Lettuces are very expensive nowadays and they use crispy lettuces to put underneath the meatballs.

Thai Sweet Basil and Chilli Stir Fry with Tofu
When I opened the lid for this dish, I was like.this is a vegan dish how come it looks so beautiful! (Sorry for Vegans out there, I do have a bias for vegan dishes). There are a lot of colorful and crunchy vegetables stir-fried together. The chilli has given it a great kick in the favor.

Crispy Chicken with Honey Soy Sauce Stir Fried
I am Chinese and we eat a lot of rice. There is slang, "Rice Theif", we use to describe a dish that tastes so good and it makes you eat a lot of rice without even knowing. The "Crispy Chicken with Honey Soy Sauce Stir Fried" is exactly a "Rice Theif". The favor of this dish is so BIG and it will make you want to eat so much rice.
It is unfortunate I am on my Keto and I could only eat a few bites of rice.

Chicken Pad Thai
I have 20+ years of having "Chicken Pad Thai". I know what a good Chicken Pad Thai is. My favorite "Chicken Pad Thai" was from Lemongrass on Lygon Street - unfortunately, it was closed a while back. I haven't had a Chicken Pad Thai that was up to my standard since then.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to announce I have found my new favorite "Chicken Pad Thai" at Meetang.
The Chicken Pad Thai has a good balance of sweet and sour favor from the brown sugar and tamarind in a dry but still moist texture. It is very hard to describe in words, but if you had enough Pad Thai in your life, you would know this is an awesome, top-class Pad Thai.
(I had 3 big bites of the noodles (due to keto). I did taste every single bite of my Pad Thai truly and carefully. I will surely order a Pad Thai only for myself at my next keto break.)

Pricewise, Entrees are around $8-11, Mains would be around $15-17, and some special dishes may get up to $23.

This is a family-run restaurant that serves humble home-style Thai dishes. I am glad such a restaurant opened in my local area.

My new go to for Thai food. Pad See Ew and Thai Basil and chilli Fried Rice. And some delicious Banana Samosa to finish off the meal. Will be back to try out the rest of on the menu.

After a day of opening we were excited to try a new restaurant in the area. We were not disappointed. While some dishes were not available yet as the menu is still getting set up, which is to be expected. The dishes we had were of a good standard. It's not Royal Thai cuisine and it's a little more formal than street food but it offers all the favourites plus a few in house specialities. The Thai chicken arancini was an unexpected delight. Like little fried balls of larb gai served with a spicy sweet tamarind sauce.
I look forward to exploring the menu.
