Medibank Northland (Preston) reviews
11 It's clean, including the cozy waiting area.
The queue was long due to staff shortage I think. But the staff there were nice and really helpful to customers, so that's ok.
Keen to make a sale. Dont care to explain the “fine print”. Promised 6 weeks free and $250 worth of points if i join medibank. The premium got deducted before the 6 weeks ended and no sign of the points. Now medibank customer care is listing out bunch of pre-requisites to get the points. Which were NOT mentioned when the policy was being sold.
Regretting leaving BUPA to join Medibank. Never had any issues with them.
Poorly staffed (only 1 staff member) on a Saturday. She advised/shouted that she was the only staff on duty. From behind her desk, when with another customer. I went to Bupa 100m down from Medibank and the treatment was vastly different. While they were also there alone. The bupa staff member excused themselves from their current customer and approached each visitor thoughtfully and spoke at a reasonable volume.
My wife and I both had health insurance with Medibank and wanted to upgrade to a family policy. After this experience we have moved our policy to Bupa
Met and chat with one of your staff named Cherry on Aus-china exhibition the other Sunday. I asked about several packages for me and my husband. Due to miscommunication or on purpose we were charged more than expected. First of all,I chose gold complete with 500 excess but my policy was gold complete w/o excess. Also, the previously promised 6 weeks free was missed in the policy. We added wechat with each other. Afterwards she deleted my husband. Before we decided to buy she acted so patient, after we finally chose Medibank but have trouble in amendmenting plans she just gets so busy to deal with us. And didnt admit her wrong doing anymore as my husband talked with her over phone and therefore had no evidence. Later we sought for help in CBD branch and the friendly staff assisted us changing the plan and policy with much patience. Quite upset about the experience as we firstly chose Medibank as our private insurance provider after comparing for a long time. Will complaint further for explanation.
Rudest service i had for a while, not as good as 5 years ago.just need to cancel my membership.
It was not the first time I went to Medibank Northland but undoubtedly was the best. I've had a great experience, with their employee - Erica - she goes beyond the expectation by seeking out and following up every single detail.
She is very knowledgeable about what she is doing and she manages our time efficiently. At the end of the day she helped us to get a reasonable saving on our policy.
I would like to suggest more training for your front line staff in the Medibank branch in Northland Shopping Centre. Service was abrupt and unhelpful. Went in to ask for assistance as we had some issues with registering online as well as some clarification about our extras cover. The young lady kept telling us to use the app on the phone. That was not quite the point.
The last straw was when I ask the her if she could tell me about what was included in hospital cover, particularly the extras pregnancy. She said "Everything. " And I ask for clarification, she gave me blank look and said. "Delivering a baby in the hospital. " That to me just says she needs more training. Not just product knowledge but better customer service

I've had a great experience at Medibank Northland, with their employee - Joseph - going the extra mile every time to provide us with the best service. And we were very often in complicated situations that he always managed to figure out. Things can easily go wrong in such big companies, but it's people like Joseph that make the experience worthwhile.

I visited Medibank within the last 2-3 week, discussed claims with a male consultant and decided three was a language barrier/difficulty. I could not understand what he was saying, and also the cognitive themes he was trying to relay to me. I don't think he knew what hypertension was and he didn't know how to spell the word. I felt very dissatisfied with the service
