Medibank - Doncaster reviews
7 The most rude people.
Lady in her 5Os this morning 18/3 at 102O am 3rd desk from entrance
Whilst waiting I checked my mobile phone.
She remarked in a stern voice
"Have you finished, what is your query? "
I asked " I like to suspend my membership for 4 weeks"
Her reply "You can only do 2 months"
I replied "But another lady told me to come back today to make arrangements for 4 weeks suspension"
She replied: "No only 2 months "
Feeling very discouraged
I said calmly "is there a contract period to my insurance! "
Her reply "No contract"
Anyone would run a mile away from her, but I kept my composure
Well so much for Medibank PR Training on basic courtesy
Hope Medibank has CCTV and this recorded conversation.
This was exactly what occurred
Administration and organising of the queue need improvement. You take a number but all the 3 ladies do not know which number is next. I kept count and shouted the next number. Overall, I was satisfied with the service, I was served by the lovely Indian lady who was good and efficient. My needs were met in 10 minutes. 28/03/23.
The most brutal and disgusting customer experience I've ever had. Walked in trying to help my dad (Who is staying here as a visitor) and I was told " bring your dad here, and bring a translator, or we can't help you". Surely MediBank could have provided some better alternatives. You guys are a disgrace to the insurance industry. Yup, sure, I will bring in my 75 year old dad, with his foot injury, and a private interpreter just to find out how to pay (which you mysteriously screwed up due to "name on card not matching insured name". Also, not even helping us set up his portal, which again is your website's fault.btw, I paid his premium using the same card via Bpay later on.clowns
Diana was so helpful to us and helped us claim on our glasses as well as give us extra tips on health insurance in general
Went for an enquiry about what was covered in my OSHC cover. The reception staff was a Chinese lady and she said her name was Lucy. She was not patient and could barely answer any of my questions. Instead she just kept telling me to look up on the website and wanted me to leave. Very bad experience.
Worst service I've received from Medibank Private in person. I arrived on Saturday afternoon half an hour before they close. All the ladies except the pretty one with very short hair at the front were all talking to customers.
This Chinese young lady with short hair was concentrating on her mobile. I asked if she was free to see me, she said she was busy and told me I had to use the ipad to make an appointment with others.
After 3 minutes, a Chinese mum approached her also asking if she could see her, she was told to use the ipad. This mum would not give up, sat down and the lady put down her mobile to serve her. I started to wonder if I should have done the same.
I managed to see another young Chinese consultant, she is friendly enough but when I asked her to looked up a package that is supposed to be cheaper than what I have now, she looked at a chart in a booklet and told me it'll be more expensive. I pointed out the chart only listed packages for families, I am single. She told me: "It also includes packages for single. " So I was told not to change, given a booklet of covers for families and sent my way to the door.
I probably won't go there again: you won't get any (correct) answers if you have any questions.
I have organized my own private health insurance through a young lady who was extremely knowledgeable and patient throughout the whole process. The experience was great and I would recommend her to every one I think her name was Dina from my vague memory.
