Mecca Cosmetica Chadstone

I went for a glam make up on 26th January 2024 for 3.30 pm for glam makeup. But the make up artist was very inexperienced she did not use a primer on base she applied foundation and concealer under my eyes without using color corrector I had to ask for it, she rubbed off the conceler and applied the color corrector after asking. And she did not apply a correct foundation color that matched my skin tone instead gave me a darker look no option provided in foundation color to me. She was not able to apply a wing eyeliner there were so many gaps on the liner and the wing on eyes were not matching she had to ask for help with others artist to help draw a Wing liner on me. She was not able to do my eyebrow even after asking her that i need arch brow she did a round brows. If someone has a function to attend I will not recommend going for this service because you don't know who you will get to do your make up properly they might spoil your event and your mood completely.

The customer service is incredible at Mecca Chadstone, all staff seem to really care about the customer experience!

Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the stock levels I have gone in multiple times over 6 month periods, where the stock levels are sub par and I have had to buy the closest available shade as the product is constantly out of stock.

After a failed visit to the other Mecca in Chaddy I was BLOWN AWAY! The two ladies Burju (hope I spelt that correctly) and Grace were absolutely amazing. They treated me like no one ever has, I felt respected and they took their time to explain and find the perfect items for me. I left on cloud 9. Living in far north QLD I can't usually go into Mecca so finally be able to go in AND get the most amazing service was really special. You made a sick old duck very happy

The staff are genuinely really friendly. It’s just really difficult to come out of a store having had a positive experience when there’s only one product in the entire store to match my skin tone and they don’t even have it in stock. I only went in because I had a gift certificate and left feeling defeated

Had the nicest experience with Christine! She was so helpful and made the whole shopping experience comfortable and engaging helping me choose a perfume and giving me cream samples. Thank you Christine, you’re such a lovely person!

Came in today as had previously bought a moisturiser at Mecca Armadale and it seemed to be off. Usually having terrible experiences at the Armadale store I assumed this would be the case in Chadstone, however it was not. I was met with the most lovely girl behind the counter (I didn’t grab her name and thought it may have been on the receipt) but she assured me that what I had bought definitely wasn’t up to standard and did a quick switchover for me. She was extremely kind and very helpful. Definitely my go to store now.

The products on display look beautiful and easy to navigate through when deciding what brand/colour you want to purchase. But, I find the excessive number of staff members on the floor annoying for such a small space. It can be uncomfortable when choosing to have multiple people question and interrupt you. I much rather ask and wait for help if I need it than feel like I'm being preyed upon!

The shop assistants working on 16/7 were absolutely wonderful offering excellent service and so much help without hesitation. Despite the extremely busy store, the girls went above and beyond offering advice without being pushy and having lots of product knowledge. Thank you for providing great memorable service that has stuck out from other retail experiences.

Makeup booking - Mitch listened and executed my desire bridal makeup look and was incredibly knowledgeable. I left truly happy with my makeup purchases and will be back for skin prep prior wedding day.

Another Mecca store I enjoy visiting! Both the Maxima and Cosmetica; all the staff who work here are very kind, extremely helpful and always here to chat/educate me regarding the products I’m after. My last visit I was lucky to be served by a nice young gentleman (from the Maxima store) who was helping me with the Hourglass Stick blushes and also took his time to show me other long lasting cream based blushes as I have stopped using any base makeup. Another very nice lady (from the cosmetica store with glasses sorry I forgot her name but I also use to see her working at the Fountain Gate and the Melbourne Central store a few years ago) is always full of energy and great enthusiasm; I was also very lucky to be served by her. You could tell all the staff here are very educated in the beauty industry and enjoy their work here! Again, I would rate this a million stars if I could! And thank you so so much for helping me! Look forward to my next visit here! This will be the next store I’d purchase the MFK fragrance from depending who I get served by!

Small store. It's always very busy. But the staff are very helpful. They have plenty of stock.

(Will spell it wrong) but zuli and the store manager on Sunday 4/12 were angels. I had repeated rude and unhelpful service and having to rebook a makeup appointment 6 times with the maxima girls who then laughed in my face on my birthday (day of appointment) and sent me to cosmetica. I arrived at cosmetica in tears and These two went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, validated, and I left with such beautiful makeup.thank you thank you thank you.

I'd like to give a big shout-out to Vicky; I hope I spelt her name correctly, because she is a professional, patient, and passionate perfume enthusiast who has brightened my day.
I went into Mecca with a laid-back attitude and was greeted by a girl who impressed me with her professionalism and even changed my perceptions of some perfumes. I became addicted to the perfumes she introduced me to. However, this bottle of Night Veils Vanille was out of stock.
It was a pity, but she was very proactive in assisting me in locating any avenues through which I could place an order, and we discovered that we could order online. The good news doesn't stop there; she went on to recommend some perfumes to me based on my tastes. She understands me so well, she carefully listens to what the customer wants, and she describes each perfume as if it were a story. She went on and on about the story behind MFK540, from the ingredients to the packaging. I liked the service, so to speak, and I would pay for her service.
Vicky, I hope you have the opportunity to read this. You'll be one of the reasons I entered Mecca. Thank you for providing me with such a memorable experience.

Never really one to make reviews but honestly cannot rave about my glam experience here enough! My MUA Alex was so friendly, attentive and did such an incredible job- she made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and was so incredibly knowledgeable and talented. All the staff (Angelo, girls at the counter etc.) were so approachable and helpful. Will definitely come back here for any future events or makeup needs x Piera

Came into Mecca around 2: 30pm to get some help with skincare and the lady that helped me was very kind and informative about the products and the types of ingredients which was quite comforting so I knew exactly what I was buying and helped me go through a step by step routine for me x

Arrived early on Sunday morning to buy three items - with no waiting I received excellent service and advice. I was able to try the products safely with sanitising a priority. I came away with five items.

Alana, Bee & Leeah at Mecca Cosmetica Chadstone are incredibly professional & knowledgeable.

My partner & I have been interested in their Officine Universelle Bully brand for skincare. They are one of the few Mecca stores that stock it so we went there quite a few times to purchase and ask for samples of certain products (to patch test and try at home), from this specific line.

The girls all actively listened to us and what we were after, did a fantastic job to assist us with what we needed and were very approachable and easy to talk to!

I went into this store a week or so ago and met the amazing Maddy who helped me with my skincare. Showing me Dr Gross and other amazing products, they have really made my skin beautiful and Maddy is so knowledgeable on skincare she definitely knows what she is talking about. My skin results show! I had really painful acne all over my chin and it has already started to disappear with these new products. Thankyou again Maddy you are an amazing sales women, you deserve a promotion.
