I have been searching for an honest butcher for a while and I came across this gem by accident. I travel 30min once a week to buy my weekly fix and let me tell you I have never been disappointed.

Then to top it off the customer service from Tony and he’s team is an experience on it’s own. Whatever I ask for is done without a fuss.

Overpriced for the quality. Bought some diced lamb and most of it was fat/sinew. Bought a kilo and only 500g was usable.

I love making a lamb roast once a month. I discovered meat well a few months ago on Uber eats. I don’t drive and with being busy working from home, I get it delivered. I’ve ordered the leg of lamb about 3 times now. Absolutely amazing taste and texture. Slow cooked for 5 hrs. Best lamb I’ve bought for sure. Definitely high quality, best I’ve ever bought. Looking forward to my delivery tomorrow morning! I also love the sausages and sausage rolls. Keep up the quality guys!

I only buy meat from Meatwell and have done so for years now! Very helpful staff, butcher Dean even diced my pork neck for me. Quality produce and great range. Will continue to only buy my meat from here!

Amazing! Meatwell is the only Butcher shop I will buy my family’s meat from. I could go on all day about how delicious their Meat is from Lamb, beef and pork The wide selection of Burgers and Sausages, My four year old son loves the Lasagna as well as the Pork and Pear Sausages and I can’t go without buying their Pulled Pork and Apple filo’s!

My kid and I grabbed some of the pork and pear sausages on our way past and cooked them up in the oven.

They were sensational! I’ve had lots of good stuff from this place before but now I have a hunger to try ALL of their sausages.

Fantastic grass fed meat with a big range of different cuts and really competitive pricing for such quality in this area! Tony is a great man too!

I absolutely love this place. Such a high level of customer service which is important to me with quality and price to match. I use to live in the area but moved to Elwood 3 years ago. Once a month, when visiting friends in the Northside I will venture in and stock up. I've yet to find a place locally that meets the standards I look for. Tried a few local butchers locally and this is by far the best selection. Service is great too- never too much for them to cut my steaks to my liking. Make sure you pick up a lasagna.

After trying the Lamb, Beef & Pork Roasts, this is the only shop to get my oven ready meat!

The beef they sold me had once strong smell of chlorine. I gave them one more chance - bought beef again and the meat was fine on that occasion. It seemed to be one - off incident.

We bought a boneless lamb shoulder for $30.00 and it was 50% fat bloody checky it was all uneven it would have been hard to cook.will never shop there again, we removed the fat 650 grams.if i had a choice it would be a no star.

Such an awful place, with an abnormal prices for an average cut of meat. One of the most amazing things is that they are charging almost 30 AUD per kg for a pork chops? This is double than any other butcher in Melbourne.

I tried Meatwell for the first time as I have been recommended by many. Wow what an amazing experience. I'm a Chef by trade and I'm fussy with my meat and will only buy good quality. The owner was very knowledgable and passionate which reflected in the product he sells. Definitely will be going back on a weekly basis to buy my meat from here. Keep up the good work guys!
