Had a custom ring of my own design made here after seeing all of the positive reviews. They did not disappoint! I was so impressed that Nick was able to modify an old ring of similar design during the consultation to prototype my design and make sure that we knew exactly what we would get. Nick & Cecilia gave us the confidence and trust to leave a very precious heirloom stone with them to remodel into this ring.

Subsequently brought the ring back to fix up a minor issue that I only noticed after bringing it home. This was done free of charge and within 2 days. Very happy with the overall result.

We were so lucky to stumble across MDT as our first shop for an engagement ring. No other store came close to them in professionalism and custom craftsmanship. Kosta and the team are warm, attentive and so knowledgable. Kosta really went above and beyond when designing my engagement ring to make sure it had the wow factor we were looking for. When my partner proposed it really took my breath away! Having our wedding bands designed by MDT was the next step. It’s worth noting the comfort fit on my husbands wedding band is fantastic. The complimentary polishing service is also a great way to keep our rings in perfect condition year round. We couldn’t be happier with our choice, thank you MDT design!

I had to get a ring resized urgently and got in touch with Charles who was immensely helpful and knowledgeable. He had it done for me in under 24 hours and also gave me some tips on minor design changes that could be incorporated to make the look more Lux (managed to have this done within a day as well). His style, knowledge and customer service skills are some of the best in the buisness and you can feel confident that any product you work on with his involvement will turn out to be exactly what you had in mind.

Charles is definitely the go to person if you are making an investment in jewellery. I purchased for my wife and am overwhelmed with the result. I have found it hard to form trust with jewellers previously purchased from. The customer facing experience and the resulting HAND MADE ring from MDT design… outstanding.

This place is simply amazing. I got a gold plated bracelet from a local shop and it broke only a week after wearing it. I came by in hope to get some info on pricing and whether they could help me fix it at least temporarily. The guy was super nice and fix it for me free of charge! Really recommend MDT, they seem very &knowledgeable as well!

Excellent pre and post sales customer service. Even after 2 years of lockdown, their high quality standards remain unchanged. Great conversation with Charles last week. Walked in to get some rings cleaned, ended up staying a bit longer for a chat and peruse their other quality products. Highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

Took my engagement ring in to be resized, the staff were lovely and extremely helpful in ensuring it was the correct size for me both now, and for when it is paired with a wedding band.
The ring was ready well before expected and looked even more brand new than when I left it with them.

A well deserved but belated review. I arrived at MDT 5 mins before 5pm one day in late November 2021, but Charles was still happy to stay behind after hours to assist with my purchase. He was friendly, knowledgable and patient in contrast to some other jewellers that I have visited. Highly recommended.

MDT design has been my favourite jewellery store in Melbourne for many years now. They make stunning hand made pieces & have won lots of awards for their work. I love admiring their gorgeous creations in the window whenever I pass by. I had my tension set engagement ring designed & made here about a decade ago, recently had it re-sized & cleaned & it looks amazing, the design hasn't dated in the least. MTD are true masters when it comes to tension set designs, I haven't seen any other jewellers that use that particular design technique. More recently I dropped in a couple of vintage/antique rings to be restored & re-sized, had a consult with Kosta who is lovely.friendly, knowledgeable & professional, what more can you ask for. Definitely the place to go if you want something unique & beautiful or a one of a kind piece. I can't recommend MDT highly enough.
