McKinnon Reserve Playground reviews
19 Great park. Great children's playground. Lots of sports, with cricket through summer and AFL through winter.
But adults and children practice all sports all year round.
Be aware this is a dog's OFF LEAD park and the number and variety of dogs and owners is a cosmopolitan dream. Not many aggressive dogs and they're a nuisance, but they're owners should be reported.
Favourite park! 3yo and 6yo had fun! Two slides, climbing frame, rock climbing, flying foxes and more.
Agree with other reviews about parking but still worth a visit!
Another great playground in the Glen Eira area. Relatively recently redeveloped playground with multiple amazing slides, plenty of climbing equipment for all ages, rock climbing walls (suited to older children), swings and see saw. Plenty of shade throughout the playground too making it a fantastic spot to take the kids, even on the hotter days. Parking isn’t fantastic, but it’s still an awesome park and one I’ll definitely be back too!
Parking is difficult when sport is being posted. There are good facilities. A park with good activity for the kids, public toilets conveniently located and also a BBQ. It's worth a visit.
Great spot for fur babies. Has plenty off leash area to run around. It is fenced off. There is one spot not fenced off where fur baby can escape so look out for it. Lots of friendly dogs and people.
A nice park for kids to play, with lots of activities.
There is one downside of the park, its too nice that its too popular with overwhelming number of kids.
Lovely playground with lots of activities eg rock climbing, flying foc, slides and climbing equipment and space to run around. Toilets, lots of shade, and tables. Recommend it for a fun visit.
Tends to get very busy and sometimes the bigger kids run around over the little kids. Otherwise a lovely park, lots of trees and playground has been done up very nicely.
Wonderful place for the young one to release all that pent up energy and for the parents to watch and socialise. Chat to friend or make a new one. There are places for the kids to climb, jump, run, hide and be him/herself. Cool down with a slurpie from 7/11 or a coffee. Enjoyment all around
Incredibly fun and really varied playground. They have 2 types of flying foxes that my 4 year old really loved!
Unfortunately not safe. Found used condoms top of slide.
Had to pick up as children were at risk
We love this park for the amazing playground and lots of adventure activities it offers to all age groups. Highly recommended if you in the zone.
Except for the below average toilet the place is very suitable for the families. The BBQ area is also very clean but the grill can be better too.
A relatively new playground with everything for all ages. There's a towering slide, flying foxes and even a climbing wall/object. It appears that you can book the gazebo and bbq with the council. The only real limitation is the parking (there isn't much) but otherwise a great place to go with kids.
This reserve has very good slides and physical activity for toddlers and younger children. And this place has barbeque and well arranged sheeting area.
Recently renovated, this park has something for kids of all ages. My kids can spend hours there.
Variety of swings and a huge playground for your family and friends to spend some quality time together outdoors️
Our first outing in a very long time. All the kids had a good time in the playground and we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the park.
A great park for all ages. It has water and toilet facilities. A double flying fox, a tower slide, a 'ninja warrior' climbing frame, cubby house and pretend fuel station!
There is also a basketball court being constructed.
The parking is on the street only, just park well clear of bus stops.
