Worker helped himself to my marked parking space and forced me to park on the street. Can't imagine people who behave like that doing a professional job so be aware.

We have had good quality service from McKinnon on two occasions, this time unfortunately their follow up on a problem has been abysmal. After spending $8500.00 I expected better, I now have to find an electrician for my problem.

Just had two split systems installed and couldn’t be more impressed by the service and ease of dealing with them. Marcus came out to quote, on time, friendly and thorough. He made sure what my requirements were and put together a competitive quote that same day. The installers work was neat and tidy, and they even cleaned up after themselves, took away the rubbish and put my daughter’s room back as it was.
Highly recommend for a seamless job start to finish.

Our 28 year old Rinnai space heater finally died; we looked at various options and got Rob to come out and give us a quote on the Thursday. By the following Tuesday our new Mitsubishi split system was installed and running. The crew of three was prompt professional and very efficient. They removed the old unit, installed the new one with very little fuss and were in and out in four hours flat. Highly recommend this local business.

McKinnon Heating have supported my hydronic heating for 10 years now including replacing valves, panels and the complete burner. I rate them very high in professional attendance, quality and value for money.

The installation of a new heat pump in the roof space was completed as planned and operates satisfactorily. However there are a few negative points post installation, i would like to report:
1) The installers were unable to answer my questions regarding the operation of the system and I had to contact the manufacturer.
2) The crew left all the rubbish of the installation in the roof space.

Also, I was appalled at the way the apprentice was treated and spoken to.

The technician spent 5 minutes fixing an issue, when I asked how much it be, said the office would bill me. The bill came to $320.00 for 5 minutes work. If the $320 was for a minimum 30 or 60 minutes, the technician should have said so and I would have got him to do more. My requests for a discount were ignored.

McKinnon are great, they did a large hydronic install and split system aircons, fantastic work from quote to completion. Very happy with the job will definitely use them again.

The team’s service from quoting by Peter through to the installation led by Joseph, everything went efficiently without disruption. Very pleased with the completely new ducted system that works to a high standard of heat and low gas usage. I would highly recommend McK Heating and Cooling to anyone looking for this service.

We had a broken air conditioner replaced with a new Daikin split system. The quote was provided promptly followed by installation within a couple of weeks. At one stage we had four guys in attendance plus another who came later to do the WIFI. The old unit was removed and the site left tidy. Our son is very happy and his bedroom/office is always at a comfortable temperature. He's loving the WIFI.

I had to wait over a month for a booking with McKinnon Heating and Cooling over winter when the heating was not working. They were advised that the property was tenanted but came a week early without advising either the tenant or myself (landlord) and did not offer an apology. They advised that a new heating system was required and after installing it another month later, it did not work because they forgot to get the electrician to connect it all up. Again, no apology offered. Complete nightmare and would not recommend. Installation crew were good communicators (except with the electrician) and did a neat job.

Very impressed with the fast service and extensive product knowledge of this firm. Will use their services again.

A lovely polite man came to give the quote but unfortunately one of the men who installed the system was a super grumpy old man which made me very uncomfortable. There was a delay with the electrician by a week, during that time I received an invoice to say the account was overdue and I was to pay immediately but the job was not finished. I am happy with the system even though it has not been used yet as it was the end of summer.

Supplied and installed 2 split systems for us in the middle of summer. Prompt, professional, no messing about and easy to deal with from the first call through to the team on the install.
