McDonald's Wonthaggi VIC

Couldn't get what I was after as the Frappe machine hadn't been working for 3 days. Didn't bother to go back again.

Oh my god everything was going so well i got my food then i look at my 10 PACK OF NUGGETS AND THERES ONLY 9! !

The cashier kept on yelling at me and calling me racial slurs they messed op my whole order said it was my fault then someone in there pulled a knife and robbed me

Order via the app at 9 08, got parked up and after 40 minutes still hadn’t received our order so went in and was met by an extremely rude staff member who told me it would be another 15 minute wait, who after being told I couldn’t wait that time due to needing to go to work so requested a refund she became extremely rude and told me she couldn’t do that due to having ordered through the app but was very quickly corrected when her manager got involved. Extremely unhappy with the service and will be going to Bass from now on.

I rarely write reviews, but the state of this store forced me to write one.
I've been to hundreds of Maccas all over Australia and this is by far one of the worst. I'm usually pretty lenient on these places as I know how hard it is to run and keep a place clean but this place was below even my low standards.
Absolutely freezing inside for no reason, the toilets were filthy, the men's toilet stall didn't even have a door! No wifi whatsoever. No USB/ power points for charging devices. No wonder the place was empty. This place is abysmal. Looks like the floor hadn't been swept in a week. The ONLY saving grace was the coffee was as it should be. But I couldn't even sit in store as it was so cold.

This place needs a serious makeover and the staff need retraining ASAP.

I wanted to grab a quick byte to eat 10 minutes before a meeting and I don't usually buy McDonald's. The staff appeared to be hopeless There was a huge queue in the drive through so I went inside and ordered direct of the self service. The team leader just appeared to be standing around waiting for the next drive through order to be ready for him to pass on to the next drive through customer. Meanwhile I am standing around waiting for 4 large fries, and no one has put a basket of chips on. I watch the staff making a chicken burger skimming the chicken fillets around the counter to his mate putting it together. Meanwhile I am standing around waiting for someone to put a basket of chips on and the team leader is standing around chatting with his team mates. In the end I eventually get my chips from a female staff member comes off a break and puts a basket on. At least they were hot and tasted great, but that could have been the hunger sauce.

Absolutely disgraceful, we were in drive-thru for 15-20minutes maybe longer, to then open our bag after leaving and the nuggets and chips being cold, and the burger that we thought was going to be a triple cheese burger without pickles and with a steamed bun to open it and it be a McChicken burger which again was cold, oh and we ordered 2 apple pies and 1 raspberry custard pie, and when we opened them there was two raspberry custard ones and only one apple, which then started a fight with the children.

This would have to be one of the experience we have had at McDonald's Wonthaggi.

Terrible place, and never order from there off menulog as you never actually get what you ordered. Consistently bad to the point where you are actually shocked when they get it right.

We were glad this was open late in Wonthaggi for us to buy ice creams and quick meals. I am disappointed in McDonald's changing the caramel recipe in the sundae! Why do this? The caramel no longer stays nice and gooey once in the ice cream! And tastes horrible too! Stop with the cheap replacement rubbish! Put the old caramel recipe from 1990s back in! This is my feedback!

Very disappointing took two payments out when I only ordered 1 burger staff are rude to each other not a nice environment

Sat in the drive-through for about 40 minutes last Friday. Food was cold when it was finally picked up. Staff have no clue what they are doing. The few times I've been in to pick up a coffee, the store has been absolutely filthy. Needs new management or to be closed down.

McDonalds are held out as the premier example of quality control internationally. This place risks dragging down the standard of all 38000 outlets. Every. Single. Time I've been there some machine or another isn't working or they've run out of something so they can't sell you an item you want. 20 minutes waiting in line in the drive thru is common and a lot of it is due to everyone having to check their order thoroughly before driving off. That is, every second order you pick up is missing something so everyone has learned not to just assume everything you've ordered is in the bag. The only reason this place survives is because the only other McDonalds are at least half-an-hour's drive away and the KFC up the road is just as bad. If the rumours are true and a Hungry Jacks is being built at the new Bunnings site, this place is finished.

I found this McDonald's store to be neat tidy and clean. Service was good and polite, and the food was great.
The place was nicely situated on a corner block and had lots of greenery around it.

Ordered a normal size wrap and paid for it. Got it home and was a little weeny snack wrap. I’ve also been stuck in drive thru for up to 40 mins. A bunch of times. Never again.

They usually mess up the order in some way, there is usually customer rubbish strewn on the table and floor. Customer service is okay.

Went through drive thru, was completely ignored even though it was empty. Was left at the order box for 5mins without being greeted. Was left at cash window for a further 5 unattended to. I was convinced they were closed. Staff were very short in interactions:/

Come in regularly whilst in Wonthaggi for work and it's alway the same here.terrible wait times and burgers are just slapped together horribly. Quarter pounders with lettuce instead on onion.and cheeseburgers without cheese.

Food OK this time. Store not very clean, had to wipe own table as it had pink sticky stuff on it as did bench at registers. Use toilets as last resort - absolutely disgusting.

To the girl (redish hair) on today you would have to be the nicest, friendliest staff member I have come across, thankyou.shame my chips were COLD NOT EVEN WARM, if drive thru car/park wasn't full I would have come in and let you know, up your game. Update 8/11/22 bought small chips n frozen coke, YET AGAIN JUST WARM, NEVER RETURNING, thought last time was a one off, obviously I was wrong

Sunday drive through has been painfully slow in previous experiences. I chanced and suffered it today for half an hour and when I got home discovered the 2 double McChicken burgers non existent. Instead 2 small double beef with those horrible pickles!
