Bought fish and chips they were great, the kebab was fantastic would highly regard this, as the best fish and chips in the area.

Ordered fish n chips. Fish wasn't crunchy at all, soggy and felt like it had been sitting there for way too long.

I’m fussy with my steak sandwiches but they make the best steak sandwiches I’ve tried everything you can’t go wrong here and they are so clean which is the best! Jimmy and Mez and Baz

Average - much better places around cazza dee shops. At least pricing is as good as the place looks, which isn't saying much.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced! I ordered minimum chips over the phone today and unfortunately something important came up immediately after I had placed the phone order. I thought i'd have the decency to call the milk bar back and cancel the order (literally called back asap 2 mins later). Firstly, the guy (male worker who could be the store owner - generally always there) answers the phone as if he's half asleep with no proper greeting of the store name. I tell him I called just a moment ago and ordered the chips but unfortunately need to cancel that as something has come up, he replies back with a rude tone "ALREADY IN OIL". I am left speechless at his rudeness but still apologise again and say "i'm so sorry I thought i'd just let you know" then he hangs up on me without saying anything! Later on when I had a moment to myself, I decided to call him back and ask why he thought it was appropriate to hung up on me. He starts on a rant about the (minimum) chips being in the oil and he had to bin it. I said "sorry" for a THIRD time but made it clear that this is not how you communicate with customers / you don't just hang up on them and I wanted an apology from him. He replies with "WHAT DO I DO? ! " in a super sarcastic manner. I told him you need to firstly calm down and instead of being RUDE you could've handled the situation a lot better and said something like "that's a shame.thanks for letting me know anyway.bye". Something so simple. He didn't like being told what to say I guess and kept yelling at me saying "I don't work here for free! " and hung up on me for a second time. Before he hung up I managed to tell him if he wants his $3 so bad i'll drop it off. He's method of yelling and abusing me over the phone was more appropriate in his mind.disgusting. These guys that work here are SO rude, have 0 customer service skills, aggressive, throw a hissy fit over $3 (when the situation could be handed a lot better) and do not deserve my time or money after this experience. I even told him I could've just not rocked up without saying anything but I had the decency to call you and tell you I wasn't coming.he didn't care about that.all he cared about was his hand full of chips that were "ALREADY IN OIL". I had the second call on loud speaker with my partner listening and they heard the whole conversation also.they were left speechless. My family and I have lived in the area for a long time and they always have attitude which we've put up with.i've had enough and this experience just tops it all off which is why I feel the need to let others know. Wish there was another local milk bar that actually had friendly and inviting staff. This place is just a joke!

Ordered a pack for two a couple days back and the fish looked like it had been sitting in that pack for several hours, soggy and no crunch at all.
Super disappointed. Won't order again.
Oh and the Tartar sauce we bought from the store expired in April.our fault for not checking before purchasing i guess.

Ordered fish and chips and HSP which didn't take long to complete. The food was great and delicious, will definitely go back again

Great local milk Bar that sells a good range of hot food as well as the usual drinks, lollies, cigarettes etc

I complained about not having enough sauce on my HSP and the owner (I think) yelled at me calling me an addict. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour.

Ordered grilled fish and chips. Fish had so much unnecessary batter that it was still raw in the middle and the chips were soggy. No response/apology from the staff at the store. I wouldn't order from them again.
EDIT** reply from owner was meant for someone else I think - My partner is not Tim. I called at the time but line was busy so contacted on FB - no response.

The chip portions get smaller and smaller each time today i bought 9.00 of chips and it looks like how i used to get 3.00 worth, it's just not worth it anymore

Service was pretty average which i dont really mind. Food though was excellent, good value and short waiting time. Would recommend.

The guy that served me 10 minutes ago was rude. I am a retail manager myself and i wont tolerate the customer service i have just received. He didnt want to be there and didnt say hi or thank you on top of the attitude to match and also the angry face

Best fish and chips around! Order early as they get busy but well worth the wait. Great family pack deals and the staff are all so friendly cheers

Excellent fish and chips. Ask for gluten free if you need it and they know what to do with grilled fish - rice flour so the grilled fish is not dry

I have been here many times and each time I was satisfied with the food and the staff. Will always drop in when in the area. Keep it up:)
